I went on the 11 am tour on Sunday, February 20. The guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable about Zegreb filling us in on all of the history and legends. It was interesting where the name comes from. A young girl meets the army commander and Grabs or Zagrebs water for him and his troops out of the fountain. The commander and the girl fall in love and end up getting married. Interesting legend. I would highly recommend it to any tourist.Well rated and glad we did this tour. 1.5hrs getting to see all the main sites of the city with enough history to understand them without too much. Gave recommendations as well of eateries and places open due to the earthquake damaging many of the churches 2 years ago. Very worth it.

Only had one full day to spend in Zagreb, so I decided to go on the free walking tour. It was really worth it, hard to believe you could take it for free. The guide Vid made it very interesting and shared so many stories, fun facts and interesting information that those 2 hours were done before knowing it. You really get to know the city from all different points of view, past and present. It was also really helpful that Vid recommended good places to eat and drinks for every kind of budget at the end of the tour and helped us locate them on Google maps. At the end, you can donate whatever you want, but without any pressure. I gave 10 euros, more than worth it.We had the privilege to be guided around by Kristina. This tour was a beautifull way to experience the city and it's monuments within the correct context. We had the privilege to be guided around by Kristina. This tour was a beautifull way to experience the city and it's monuments within the correct context. Information provided by our amazing guide was non-judgmental, open minded and brought in a fun but educational way. I recommend this tour to everybody who visits Zagreb. Give your walk through the city deeper meaning and know what the story behind the building is you are looking at.
