Hierva El Agua's prettiest view is only accessible through a bit of a rough hike. The "pool" area are easy of access but not the actual "fall". If you have a mobility problem it will be a challenge. Mezcal at the distillery was more expensive than in town!

Trip was as promised. No-nonsense ride to and from hierve el agua. Driver was good, picked us up on time, and brought us back on time give or take 15 min. We had 3 hours to hike about and take a refreshing dip in the pools. Much preferred doing this to the other bundled tours out there, since I had no interest in the carpets or the mezcal. I typically don't put up reviews, but this tour warrants it since it has no reviews currently, and like most people, I was apprehensive about signing up for something without a single review. Hope this helps those on the fence about this ride.We were looking for a simple (day)trip to hierve el aqua without any extra visits to markets. This was perfect, combined with a short visit to a mezcal distillery. The driver and guide were friendly and helpful. It was a great day.

We were at Hierve el Agua for 3 hours and that was the right amount of time (in between being in the pool, hiking, pool again, and eating) to do it all. It didn't feel rushed and we were not being forced to eat in a tourist trap. The Mezcal tour was also fun and we got to sample 12 different mezcals/creams. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit Hierve el Agua! Our tour was a great experience. Tan was very friendly and knowledgeable about Oaxaca and Mezcal. Our tour was a great experience. Tan was very friendly and knowledgeable about Oaxaca and Mezcal. She gave us some nice insight on the local culture. We were free to do whatever we wanted for 3 hours at Hierve el Agua, which was also very nice and relaxing. We definitely would recommend doing this tour, as both the baths and the mezcal have been essential parts of our trip to Oaxaca.
