Option A: 2 1/4 hour Low Isles Reef Sprinter Snorkelling Tour
Overview
The reef that we visit on Option A is very protected and has a vast quantity of quality corals and abundant fish species, with green turtles swimming nearby in the clear Coral Sea. On this tour you don’t go onto the island, you snorkel from the back of the boat. We own two exclusive permits right on the reef edge that allows just our 2 Reef Sprinter boats to visit this reef meaning there are no crowds at all!
See spectacular corals, turtles, and fish life only 15 minutes from Port Douglas and you won’t get seasick.
Inclusions
- Use of Snorkelling equipment
- All Fees and Taxes
- Bottled water

What a great experience 🙂 Totally unforgettable and so grateful we could do this. I wish I hired a GoPro so I could capture the magic, but I also appreciate being in the moment. I totally recommend taking a life jacket out, it less work keeping yourself afloat.

We loved this experience. I was with another adult & 2 children, 10 and 11, both confident swimmers. The wind was high so we chose life jackets for the kids and I am pleased we did. The pool noodles were also a clever way of keeping track of the kids. The boat ride is fast and fun but not suitable for everyone (bad back, pregnant, very small kids). The staff on the boat and ground were great. The glass bottom boat is cool and gave another perspective. As we were there the tide was dropping quickly so I was pleased we did the first trip of the morning. You don’t get to go on the island which is a bit of a shame.Such a fun experience! Such a fun experience! Saw lots of fish and sea turtles. Very friendly staff, 10/10. Would highly recommend. For those of you who like to know what to expect: you are asked to check-in at the marina 30 minutes before departure time where staff greet you and offer wet suits. It’s a quick 15 minute boat ride (a little bumpy with the waves, but a fun ride) to the island during which you are provided fins and snorkels. Once at the reef, you hop on a smaller glass bottom boat to go to shore - you can see the reef and marine life on the ride in. You are given loads of time to snorkel and explore the reef and are offered to attend an educational tour through the island or to continue snorkelling/relaxing on the beautiful sandy beach. You return the equipment to the staff and then head back to the main boat via the glass bottom boat to return to town.
