Overview
• Visit a small scale organic farming at our small scale organic farm.
• Learn how to make from scratch some of the most well known favorite Thai dishes. You will gain a very all-round knowledge of Thai cooking and dine on your creations after the class.
• Visit the local market. Thai markets with all their colors smells and sounds will give you an authentic look into a very interesting part of Thai culture. You will also learn about different Thai vegetables and herbs.

We were picked up by Roger, Eing's husband from our accommodation in Patong & driven to our cooking class at their home. Even this was a great experience, talking to Roger on the 40 minute drive about his travels & what brought him to Thailand. As well as some local knowledge. It was just myself and a girlfriend in the class. There was an outdoor kitchen set up in their front yard, enclosed in a lovely garden. Stainless steel bench tops, sink & gas burners, all built by Roger. All the ingredients were set out, Eing explained what everything was & how it was used. We prepared & cut everything with further explanation for each dish. Everything was so fresh, we made 5 dishes in total. After each dish we sat and enjoyed the food we had made in lovely surroundings of the garden. Every dish was delicious & Eing made it all look so easy to be able to make again on our return to Australia. The recipes were emailed to us. I made the Pepper Beef for dinner last night. It was as easy & as delicious as when we made it with Eing. Eing showed us her herb garden & explained what everything was used for. We were there for about 4 hours & enjoyed every minute, the time flew by. I wish I could put the amazing smells on here to prove what an awesome experience this was. Rodger then offered to take us to the local market, we declined, as our day could not have got any better. He then drove us back to our accommodation. I cannot recommend this cooking experience any more, it was fantastic! I could go on & on, but i think you get the idea. Thank you so much Roger & Eing.The cooking were good and more than enough for the 2 of us. Taste delicious as well. We enjoyed the market tour as well as the couple of view points we were shown which were additional to what we were expecting.
