We did of course also see some manatees! The Blue Springs area was lovely, weather was beautiful. The kayaks were comfortable, I learned so much and the 3 hour tour was a perfect amount of time. Beginner kayakers would do fine! Well worth the money! This was absolutely incredible!! Our tour guide Gina was SO fun and kind, she even brought us all snacks and waters. We went during the off season and we still saw alligators and manatees. It was absolutely incredible and we would highly recommend this to any and everyone!

I’ll be honest, our tour wasn’t typical - high winds made paddling and navigating particularly difficult. We were only able to see one manatee up close, and had brushing encounters with a couple of others. But the sheer diversity of wildlife we saw outside of the manatees was a treat in and of itself. Our guide (Guy) was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very accommodating for our party (we had one younger paddler that most likely would have struggled with the conditions and he grabbed a tandem and kayaked with her). A note to anyone coming from the Orlando area - traffic is a beast. Give yourself more than adequate time to ensure an early arrival. We were “on time” for our tour (despite a 30 minute cushion), but Guy gave a bit of a tutorial beforehand; if you want to make the most of your time on the water, definitely try to arrive 15 minutes early.
