A couple of weeks ago we arranged an all day tour with Salento Bike Tours. We rode from Otranto, an all day tour. Carlo our guide made sure our pace was relaxing. We stopped at a fruit stand and met locals. And met more locals over a special espresso called a cafe Leccese. (coffee and almond milk). We lunched in Tricase Porto. The pace of life In this part of Italy it is wonderful. Everything is slowed down from the fast pace of life it and feels great to “get slow.” The cuisine in Puglia is delicious. We rented a house 5 min walking from little Specchia. Had a fantastic trip. Thank you Salento Bici. Billy Salento Bici Tour, Lecce.Carlo took us out for a fantastic cycle in the local area. He was very knowlegeable about the local history. Informative and fun. We would highly recommend this trip.
