Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt
The last remaining wonder of the ancient world; for nearly 4000 years, the extraordinary shape, impeccable geometry and sheer bulk of the Giza Pyramids have invited the obvious questions: ‘How were we built, and why?’. Centuries of research have given us parts of the answer. Built as massive tombs on the orders of the pharaohs, they were constructed by teams of workers tens-of-thousands strong. Today they stand as an awe-inspiring tribute to the might, organisation and achievements of ancient Egypt.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Great Sphinx, Al-Haram, Giza Egypt
Known in Arabic as Abu Al Hol (Father of Terror), this sculpture of a man with the haunches of a lion was dubbed the Sphinx by the ancient Greeks because it resembled their mythical winged monster who set riddles and killed anyone unable to answer them. A geological survey has shown that it was most likely carved from the bedrock at the bottom of the causeway during Khafre’s reign, so it probably portrays his features.

We travelled to Sharm for a week with the idea of doing a couple of excursions, and decided to book a trip to Cairo at the last minute less than 24hrs notice. Firstly I was very impressed at how quickly this was arranged with the flights and onward ticketing, given that we left this so 'last minute' (thank you again and apologies we left it so late!). From the point we booked, Ali was in contact straight away organising things, the communication could not have been any better. The airport transfer, flight, pickup/dropoffs were all well organised. Our driver was a hero in what can only be described as the most chaotic city traffic known to man! Ali of course is the star of the show, from the moment we began the tour his deep knowledge of 'everything' Cairo really shone through. He is a walking Wikipedia article, bringing ancient Egypt to life with his brilliant understanding. Ali's very personable demeanour mixes great history with great storytelling, and he really makes you feel like you are getting a VIP private tour to ensure you're having a special day. I can't recommend this tour and company highly enough, an absolutely fantastic day. Thank you to Ali and the whole team again!!My son and I went to Sharm El Sheikh and had an amazing time. We stayed at a luxury resort. The company picked us up from the airport, took us around. The city, gave us some historical perspective, drop this off all their professional on time highly
