Overview
Enjoy a relaxing escape for the entire family and friends in our fully equipped, overnight camp set up in the middle of the desert. Vistas of the desertscape and the surrounding peaks of Faya and Fossil Rock add to the spectacle.
The evening starts off with a beautiful 20-minutes complimentary stargazing followed by a BBQ dinner under the stars. Breakfast served the following morning

Happened to attend the Perseids meteor shower on 12th August 2023 with Mleiha Archaeological centre, Sharjah. It was an wonderful experience with impressive arrangements for watching the meteors, car parking and wash rooms. The dinner was commendable and light. The lecture about stars, galaxies, universe and constellations was fantastic... Appreciate the efforts taken by the team!! Special mention to the educators Mr. Nirmal and Mr. Prabhu for their excellent presentation and quiz. Planets and star show through telescopes were well explained by Ushani and Jhen... A soothing relaxing music added special effects to the show!! Finally, very much excited to watch those meteors flying around.. Thankyou guys! Overall, a delightful experience! It was the first night away from home after months of lockdown due to Covid 19. It was the best adventure for us and the kids, 7 & 12 years old. It was the first night away from home after months of lockdown due to Covid 19. It was the best adventure for us and the kids, 7 & 12 years old. We had an amazing time visiting Mlaiha's archeological center, with the overnight stay at the camp. It included dinner and breakfast, which were OK with unlimited supply of soft drinks, tea, coffee, karak. but the highlight of the trip was the service of the team at the camp, Anurag's explanation's of the stars and planets to the kids during star gazing with an excellent telescope, in addition to the explanation of the archeological history of the area during the next day's visit to the Fossil Rock and the wildlife in the region. Make sure to ask Anurag to show you the amazing pictures of the birds he took. Omar was also very kind and accompanied our entire tour from the minute we arrived until we left. The kids loved his drive in the desert, on the way back after seeing a fascinating sunrise. All in all an amazing night under the stars around the bonfire, a very different experience for the kids, who never even asked for any electronics!! Everything was arranged, the sleeping tent, clean toilets, the staff takes care of setting up everything from cleaning after every meal, setting the kids safe archery setup the kids enjoyed. Just remember to take your pillows and extra cover if the weather could be cold, and a light cardigan to sit comfortably. I stayed up almost all night amazed by the stars! From the booking request to the end, a 100% perfect experience. The team went the extra mile to make sure everything is perfectly prepared. Abdulla Moosa gave great advice in the preparation of the trip as we wanted to add a hike before the camping and we couldn't have wished for a better guide than him sharing his passion for and knowledge about nature with the the group. He made everyone feel welcome. The experience was enjoyable from arrival, through the hike to the camping with a setup suitable for a queen. Food for diner and breakfast was delicious, the stargazing super interesting and entertaining thanks to Nirmal who also guided our very informative walk in the morning to see the fossils. Absolutely recommendable and just one hour drive away from Dubai.KamilShah

Had an amazing time with the family visiting the Visitor Center, horse stables and best part of all, the overnight camping! There was also a star gazing session organised and really excited to have seen closer planets like Mars, Saturn and Jupiter as well as distant galaxies! Well organised and amazing staff. Massive shout out to Prabhu Kutti who, because of his passion and in depth knowledge, made us decide to come back for the overnight camping! Thank you and keep up the amazing work in sharing the vast body of history that the UAE has! Tents were well equipped (even has well maintained onsite toilet/shower facilities), had a BBQ dinner, stargazing experience and private bonfire. Woke up at 5.30am to head out to catch the sunrise, then a little bit of trekking to check out ancient fossils at Fossil Rock, and finally a bit of off-road experience before going back to camp for breakfast. Truly memorable experience, will definitely go back and highly recommended!sinamis

Literally my new favorite thing to do in Dubai. When you just want to get away from it all and do something for yourself, and only an hour away. I love the fact that you don't need to prepare anything. Just drive up, your food and accommodations are taken care of. The shower was a nice surprise, will bring a towel next time! Prabu was my favorite part of the stay - he is SO knowledgable, patient and kind. Learning about and seeing the stars, galaxies and planets was such a humbling experience. I didn't want it to end, I could've looked out of that telescope all night. An early start to watch the sunrise and do some dune bashing, couldn't have asked for more! And so affordable! Will definitely be back again and will definitely take guests when they're visiting!
