You also explore a hands-on exhibition about water, by The Icelandic Museum of Natural History.
These tickets include Áróra, a one-of-a-kind northern lights experience. It is a 25 min. long dome theatre show in Iceland's only planetarium. You see how northern lights form in outer space and see them dance all around you, virtually surrounded by Icelandic nature.
Finally, enjoy the 360° views over Reykjavík from our Observation Deck. There are picture panels and various geological samples from around Reykjavík.

The museum was chock full of Icelandic natural history.We spent almost 4 hours here and did the planetarium show, the ice cave, the volcano movie, the lava show, and had lunch in the rotating restaurant/Cafe up top. Excellent all around.

I really loved the experience! Historical events are illustrated in a very good way, it was captivating and very well presented. All information about volcanoes, glaciers and fauna in Iceland were super interesting. The ice cave and the 360 degrees viewing platform were also great additions to our visit at Perlan. Unfortunately we did not have enough time anymore to check out the planetarium.The planetarium show and ice caves and view from the top. A must see if in reyjjavik. There's a lot to see.
