Friday, April 23rd my wife and I took the plant-based Food Tour with Will at the Pike Place Market. The tour lasted about 2 hours and 45 minutes and we visited more than a dozen different vendors. Tastings included chocolates, vegan chowder, juices, olive oil and balsamic vinegars, specialty jams and jellies among others, all of which were amazing. Will was very passionate and enthusiastic about his subject and was very easy to interact with and answered our questions about the foods and the market and further explained the history and philosophy of the market itself, which further enhanced the value of the tour. As a Seattle native Will was gave us additional information about the city and gave us some great suggestions of vegan, Persian and Thai restaurants. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best we rate Will at 4.99. Hey, nobody’s perfect, but he’s pretty darn close. If you are into the food scene and enjoy pleasing your palate, we highly encourage you to take this tour, seriously it really is a 5!!It was a great opportunity to try different plant based options that the market had to offer. Not to mention Will was should a great and friendly tour guide. He genuinely cares that his clients receive an experience they’d remember.

Coming from Detroit , I was so excited to find this tour . I wasn’t sure what to expect . Will, was our guide . He was very informative about the market. How it got started and what the market represents. The food was amazing . There was savory , sweet , along with some delicious beverages . We had some vegan chowder, a corn taco , chocolate, juices, dole whip , and ended with cupcake . We weren’t encouraged to buy items on our tour that we enjoyed , which I think is a huge marketing flaw, but to come back , which was not going to be an option for us . Luckily the one place I extremely enjoyed, with balsamic reductions, has a website and ships. It was an amazing tour . I’d do it again . It was a little pricey for what we got , but hey .. I’m on vacation! Thanks will for your wisdom and a wonderful experience. This tour absolutely exceeded our expectations! This tour absolutely exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide, Will, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything "Pike Place Market", and Seattle in general. Everyone in the market seemed to know him, and he provided excellent overview of plant-based offerings in the market. Everything we tried was fantastic! I'm vegetarian, however my wife is not- and even she thoroughly enjoyed the tour. My only regret- and recommendation if you book this tour- is that we didn't do it earlier in our stay in Seattle, as there are so many places we would have gone back to for a full meal. (And other vegetarian options in Seattle that Will also recommended!)Will was a very knowledgeable and interesting tour guide. We tasted some delicious food and had some great drinks. Even the meat-eating members of our group were very impressed with the plant based tastings.

This was just an absolutely wonderful tour! We live in Belltown, so we’re acquainted with Pike Place Market. But Will exposed us to some amazing new vegan options we hadn’t tried before. Pike Place Chowder is to die for, and Truffle Queen and Three Girls Bakery were amazing. But really the best part of the tour was Will. Such a great tour good! Towards the end of the tour some random person who wasn’t on the tour glommed onto us and asked some questions regarding Seattle. Without missing a beat, Will answered them, including a 2 minute “history of Seattle” that seriously needs to be a YouTube video. My only disappointment was learning that Will doesn’t do historical Seattle tours. I’d book those today I’d they were available! That said, I have family visiting in August, and will definitely be booking this tour again!
