What to expect

Playa Mia Grand Beach Park is located in the south part of the island, just a 15-minute ride down the coastal road from downtown Cozumel. Make your way to the park whenever you’d like—it’s open from 9am to 6pm—and stay all day if you’d like. Have a blast with family and friends, using your day pass to enjoy a range of exciting activities for all ages. With several day pass options (see descriptions below), you’ll find everything you need for a fun-filled, carefree day!
Explore the water park, which boasts more than 20 attractions. Let the kids go wild at Buccaneer’s Bay or swim in a lagoon pool full of fun activities, including a pirate ship, water cannons, water sprays and animal slides. Jump into the Oasis Island pool and hydro-massage tub or make a splash on the 200-foot-long (60-meter-long) Twin Twister waterslides.
Enjoy the best of the Caribbean at the famous beach park, an ideal place to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the sea, sunbathe on the white-sand beach and have a blast in the Floating Park—an amazing floating circuit packed with adrenaline-filled fun! Whenever you're ready, make your way back to your hotel, enjoying the day at your own pace and on your own time.
Option 1: Day PassYour entrance ticket includes access to lounge chairs, underwater Mayan city, organized games, playground, kayaks, paddleboats, Hobie cats, beach volleyball, a large shopping area and more. (Food, drinks, massage, snorkel gear rental and motorized water toys are available for an additional fee.)
Option 2: Day Pass with BuffetYour entrance ticket includes all of the above plus a self-service international buffet with green and Caesar salads, fresh fruit, BBQ chicken, Veracruz-style fish fillet, roasted suckling pig, meatloaf, beef fajitas, hot dogs, Mexican rice, chilaquiles in mole sauce, chili beans, refried beans, bread, mashed potatoes, zucchini au gratin, tortilla chips, salsas, mac and cheese, French fries, flavored water, Jell-O, cookies and soft-serve ice cream. (Note: Menu is subject to change without prior notice.)
Option 3: Day Pass with Buffet and Open BarYour entrance ticket includes all of the above plus a national open bar: house wine, draft beer, tequila, mezcal, brandy, rum, vodka, margaritas, piña coladas, rum punch, daiquiris, juice, soft drinks, coffee and bottled water. (Note: Shots are not available.)

- IMPORTANT: Playa Mia is committed to protecting the ocean environment and Cozumel’s vast coral reefs; therefore, the use of any type of sunscreen, sunblock, or suntan lotion which could eventually make its way into the ocean is no longer allowed. All guests must wipe-off any sun lotion residues or shower BEFORE entering either the ocean or Playa Mia’s pools. We suggest the use of long-sleeved UV-filtering shirts, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Coral, fish and all other sea creatures thank you for your cooperation! We strongly recommend, DO NOT TOUCH THE MARINE LIFE.

Nice facilities. Wait staff very attentive. Food and open bar good quality. Beach nice except the wave runner drop was right in the middle of the beach. It needs to be at the end as to not block access to the beach. Not well marked either.

Service is in general very poor. It can get overcrowded. All inclusive is not worthy We got somehow lucky and one waiter was really nice. The place is just too expensive for what it offers

This wasn’t our first trip there but was our grandson’s he had a blast at the kid’s park. And was our son-in-laws we were just a little down cause it rained, but besides that we really had a good time.

We visited Cozumel as a stop on our cruise. Had been researching resorts and this one seemed more tailored to children and kids under 16. We booked directly with them, booking the amazing beach break and ayce beach break, both with transfers, and pick up was a short 10 min walk from the cruise pier. The staff on arrival were very nice and surprisingly was not busy. My 12 yr old daughter and i did the water bicycle and husband and daughter enjoyed the snokel. Our server Luis was very sweet, quick to answer questions, take our order and making our experience great. The drinks were good, tho I stuck with beer, but the food was better than anticipated along with the servings. The fish ceviche was amazing!! The pools were clean, the area was very nice. I will Def be back during my next cruise.Bruce_M

Wonderful place! Do the Amazing Beach break with trans, best bang for your buck! My wife had about 10 Pina Coladas while we were there and enjoyed the beach, pools, water equipment, the food and drinks! Lovely places to sun or shade! Just remember to bring cash as there is no ATM on site.
