My family and I recently experienced the Early Entrance Small Vatican Group tour. Pamen, our guide, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the sites she was showing us. It was great to be in this small group as we felt free to ask questions and take photos as we pleased. I read a lot about the large crowds at the Vatican, but they were much larger than I imagined. I felt so fortunate that we had booked the tour. Well worth the money and I highly recommend this service. We had an amazing and fun private tour through LivItaly. Our tour guide Marina was wonderful. We had an amazing and fun private tour through LivItaly. Our tour guide Marina was wonderful. She brought Pompeii to life and made it extra special for our family. We made the trek from Rome to Pompeii and it was not easy. The taxis were in high demand from our hotel to the Termini, then the train to Naples was delayed for 50 minutes. The front office at LivItaly was more than responsive as we informed them and then updated them along our prolonged journey. At first, we thought we would miss the private tour completely as we ended up very late, but upon arrival we found Marina, our guide for the day, awaiting us with a warm smile, no worries, and an abundance of positive energy which was much needed. Marina led us into Pompeii with a wealth of knowledge from the very start, even prior to entering the city. For example, I had no idea from previous visits what the small holes at the base of the entry wall were for... Thank you, Marina (wink wink). Even with our prior experience here, we continued to learn a lot about the city, history, and life. The real telling part of how great a guide and tour this was ... our teenage son more than once said he was so glad to have come to this tour and it was a favorite experience in Italy. It was an impossibly hot day, Marina was able to find cool and shady spots moreover she navigated the information and the site with us as we had done some research prior to coming. Overall, I would not only recommend LivItaly as a tour company (we used them more than once this trip), but also do yourself a favor - request Marina who speaks English perfectly, an impressive depth of knowledge, and a wealth of positivity. Our tour guide with LivItaly tours did a great job. She was knowledgeable and worked hard to keep us in the shade as much as possible since temperatures were in the 90’s. Selecting the small group tour (6 people) was a good decision.

I’ve been on many tours from around the world but this private tour with LivItaly was the best experience in my life. With a relaxing train ride from Rome being escorted to the carriage followed by meeting one of Italy’s best tour guides in Naples: Natalia. Her knowledge was extraordinary and she truly cared about your experience. I took my 74 year old uncle on this adventure who has special needs. She made sure every step of the way was gracefully taken care of throughout the journey. When arriving to Pompeii, we met Imma, the very best tour guide in Pompeii. Her hands on experience fostered the 2 hour excursion, immersing me into the life of the Ancient Greek and Romans from their perspective. I really enjoyed my time with her and I would highly recommend you see her!! Naples in and of itself is majestic, but with Natalia, it was the best experience one could ever ask. With a delicious Napoleon pizza and wonderful conversation, we were off to an extravagant adventure. Natalia made sure you saw the very best sites, picturesque views, and the finest Italian cab services. All in all, I will never forget this amazing adventure. Thank you Imma and Natalia for the wonderful experience!
