The excavations dominate the center of modern Pompeii, and right there, a short walk from the past, you can visit one of the oldest coral factories in the city, admiring the masterpieces of local artisans, made according to ancient Greek-Roman traditions.

Beautiful, worldly and full of colors, this is how to define the city to which the name of the entire coast of Sorrento. Adorned in every place by the flamboyant lemon trees, the main ingredient of the famous Limoncello, Sorrento looks like a carousel that revolves around Piazza Tasso, the pivotal point from which branch off the three main roads that will lead you to the treasures of the city. This was the best way possible to see this beautiful stretch of coast and, even better, we had a glorious day for it. The Di Sarno team of Gabby and Alfredo made everything so easy and enjoyable, with expert driving (no simple matter in these parts!) and enthusiastic and friendly commentary from Gabby. We had the chance to collaborate with the wonderful team of Gabriella and Gianluca both for a transfer from the airport of our hotel in Naples, and for one of the most beautiful trips to Pompeii, Positano and Amalfi. Beyond promptness and efficiency (very important characteristics when you are in a foreign city), we were totally ecstatic about the way they treated us, their enthusiasm and the well-being that they constantly transmitted to us. They were wonderful "hosts" and took care of all the details so we had the best conditions to visit. To these, I would add the excellent recommendations for different destinations and restaurants and the support provided for anything I asked for. We originally booked a deluxe group tour to Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano but we’re very pleasantly surprised to be given a private tour on our own just me and my partner. Our driver was Nico and he was fantastic! Picked us up at exactly 8:30 at the Ramada hotel as promised with our names on a piece of paper. Booking was easy and simple through Tripadvisor and Arianna from the tour company was in touch immediately to let us know the itinerary and what to expect! We spent two hours at Pompeii where Nico advised us where to get an audio guide and tickets from, then we drove to Sorrento where he also stopped and let us take pictures of some of the most amazing views I have ever seen! We spent two hours exploring Sorrento getting lunch and (as recommended by Nico) eating the best Ice Cream in all of Italy 😍 We spent one hour after this in Positano but as it was out of season many places were closed so we just enjoyed a nice walk down to the beach through the beautiful streets. The whole day was just fantastic, hassle free and easy. I would advise any one looking to book to book through this tour operator. It certainly made our short time in Naples one to remember. I needed pick up in Naples at the port with a visit to Pompeii and then a drive to drop me off where I was staying in Nocelle which is way above Positano.
