The whole team where fantastic looking after us all. Particularly, Ian the coach driver who went above and beyond cleaning up someone's vomit. The views on the road trip and the fjord were a once in a lifetime experience.

Our coach driver was Ian (from Argentina). He performed perfectly. He started by telling us that he was well rested, had driven this tour 300 times, could not exceed 90kmh, and that he would drive carefully at all times and do his best to look after us. It rained and lightly snowed on our journey and I felt that he was a cautious driver who drove defensively at all times. Besides that he he was a good tour guide and a very approachable and kind person. We couldn’t ask for more. What's annoying is being told to be 10 minutes 'early' for a 9:30 departure, when the actual depart is 10am. So we wasted almost an hour of a precious NZ day. We were so excited to go to Milford Sound during our visit to New Zealand. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out the way we had hoped. We intentionally booked this tour because the company only half fills the boat with customers allowing for more room for viewing and movement. On the day of our cruise the boat was completely full with nowhere to sit or see the sights. It was pouring rain which is obviously no fault of the company but it did make things more difficult with so many people. The boat and the bus and the staff were very nice but the entire experience was lost due to the crowded boat and lack of space. This was an amazing trip! This was an amazing trip! The whole experience ran very smoothly - the coach pick-up, the lunch, the cruise itself. The staff on board the catamaran were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to see the Sound in glorious sunshine, so there were many photo opportunities for all. What did mar the day for us was the return coach journey to Te Anau. Although the driver was at great pains to tell us that the coach had air conditioning, this was clearly not the case! With no stops on the way back, and very little air on the coach, the heat became almost unbearable. We certainly pitied those passengers who had to tolerate the heat all the way back to Queenstown. A disappointing end to an otherwise brilliant day.
