Mongolia is a hidden gem that should not be missed by any adventurous traveler. Just a short drive from Ulaanbaatar lies the breathtaking Terelj National Park. This natural wonderland is a paradise for nature enthusiasts and outdoor lovers. The vast landscapes of rolling hills, towering rock formations, and lush green valleys offer endless opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, and even camping. The picturesque Turtle Rock and the majestic Aryabal Meditation Temple are must-visit spots within the park. What sets Mongolia apart is its rich nomadic heritage and the warm hospitality of its people. Billy and Binderya from Amicus take care of the tour very well. This tour was one of the best we've been on. We've used Viator for 10 years and they never disappoint! Our guide Ashley, and our driver Tomor were friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. The three days we spent with them were never rushed, leaving downtime between each event. The itinerary was diverse and intriguing with stops at Buddhist temples, ancient stones, national parks, popular tourist sites and natural phenomenons. The accommodations were rustic, but comfortable and the food was plentiful. At both camps, we were able to buy alcohol and souvenirs. There is no WiFi, but our tents had electricity so we could charge our phones. Our guide also accommodated our requests to stop at a grocery store or when we spotted a herd of yaks! I highly recommend this tour!My friend and I enjoyed our 3days/2nights private tour with Amicus. Flexible and easy communication from the start when customizing our itinerary. My friend and I enjoyed our 3days/2nights private tour with Amicus. Flexible and easy communication from the start when customizing our itinerary. Our guide, Ms. Deema, was very informative and cheerful. Our driver, Mr. Uugaa, was the best driver there could ever be in Mongolia. No matter how much time we spend in a location sightseeing, we would always arrive in the next destination on time, comfortably safe and sound. The ger we stayed at in Hustai was very memorable as it was very close to authentic nomad dwelling setup experience. The ger we stayed at in Terelj was a modified ger for more comfort and convenience. This one had heated flooring as compared with the ger in Hustai which had the firewood heater in the center. We were also glad about the location of our camp in Terelj which was more secluded, giving the feeling of exclusivity in this touristy area. Both gers assigned to us were only a few steps to the communal bathroom and it was good because we could just walk a few seconds to reach it in the cold of the night. We were surprised with the food that were served in both tourist camps-- full course! Complete with proper cutlery to every course. Delicious and abundant in portions, I think they could rival the food served in high end restaurants, if not better. I recommend Amicus 100% and I would avail their services again if and when I visit Mongolia again, hopefully soon.My guide Solongo and driver Tsendee were the best travel team I would have asked for for my 4 day tour of Monogolia. My guide Solongo and driver Tsendee were the best travel team I would have asked for for my 4 day tour of Monogolia. They were friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. Solongo was fun, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. Even though I was traveling solo, but I felt like I came to Mongolia with Solongo and was traveling with her as a friend I knew for long. We explored a lot of Mongolia in 4.5 days and I did not realize how fast the time passed with these two. Our times and chats in the car on long drives, and during our meals is something I will always remember, along with of course the beautiful landscape of Mongolia. Trip was well planned and executed. Staying is Gers was an interesting experience. Mongolia is a beautiful country with a lot to explore and Amicus is a good partner to plan a trip t Mongolia. My vegetarian food request was well taken care of. Thank you Amicus, Solongo and Tsendee for making my trip a memorable one,This 3-day, 2-night tour was an excellent start to our time in Mongolia. This 3-day, 2-night tour was an excellent start to our time in Mongolia. We could have rented a car, but I don’t recommend doing this as the places worth going have little signage, roads are not the smoothest, and getting through UB traffic will be daunting. Those factors made it nice to kick back and let a local do the driving while we sat back, asked questions about Mongolia, and took pictures of whatever we thought was interesting. Our guides, Dulguun and Sukh, we wonderful throughout the entire trip. Mongolia has a lot to offer in terms of physical geography and culture, but we wouldn’t have seen or learned half as much without their explanations. They truly enhanced our time in Mongolia beyond anything we could have done on our own. I’d strongly recommend this tour to anyone who has a fairly limited time in Mongolia or anyone who is planting their feet in UB for a few days. I found the experience well worth the cost.We had a great guide Binderiya and even greater driver Hangar. They had made our trip super memorable The sights are super and some of the sights are suitable for early morning viewing.
