After picking you up at your hotel we will start our tour towards the Ambohimanga castle
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Royal Hill of Ambohimanga, 23 km North of Antananarivo, Antananarivo 101 Madagascar
You will be guided throughout the visit of the Ambohimanga Rova castle, which was the capital for the Merina royal family. The castle and the sacred hill has been a highly symbolic and historical place. The site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list since 2001 and is considered a significant symbol of the cultural identity of Malagasy people.

Lunch will be taken at La Toque Enchantée Restaurant, downtown Tana, well-renowned for its malagasy / european fusion cuisine.

Our guide will bring you to visit Dieodonné and Violette's ironwork shop, in Alasora. This artistic workshop is mostly renowned for the design and creativity of his work, and for the inclusion of hearing impaired and modest origin workers in the staff. Their production is widely renowned, exhibiting in international fairs and collaborating with international designers. You will find original products, decorations and sculptures there.
