Cairan was an amazing person and great tour guide. Speaking 4 languages, he was able to provide historical and current facts about every location in Berlin. His depth of knowledge about Berlins history and the magnificent city it has become are without equal. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was Francisco, a Chilean architecture student who has lived in Berlin for a number of years. He was incredibly knowledgeable about German and Berlin history (and architecture!), did a wonderful job of explaining what we were seeing and the history behind it, and was a delightful companion for the day. We particularly appreciated that he tailored the day toward sights we had not yet seen, added several interesting places not on the standard itinerary, and taught us much we did not know about life in what was formerly East Berlin. The walking pace was easy, with stops whenever we wanted for coffee or just a short rest, and Francisco’s pleasant enthusiasm never lagged for a moment. Overall, a terrific day with a superb guide, vastly better than any group tour we might have done, and worth every minute and Euro we spent. We rarely write glowing reviews, but here it is deserved. In our view, the way to see Berlin. My wife and I chose to take this private tour. It was just the two of us and are a very knowledgeable tour guide,Paul. Or has a master's degree in European history. We booked two private tours with Birchy’s Berlin on our recent trip, and both were fantastic. Aaron spent 6 hours showing us round the city, and Paul took us out to Sachenhausen. Both were great guides. Interesting and cheerful and very personable, it was like having a (really knowledgeable) friend for the day. They also gave us welcome pointers for where to go and food to try on the remaining days of our trip. (yes we loved Burgermeister) Would thoroughly recommend
