My Name is Daniel Mathieu from Canada Ontario. I have the pleasure to be guide by Carlos to the Rio Celeste for an full day. I was amaze by the view and the rain forest and the beauties of the flour. The breakfast and lunch was included in the price of the tour. It was traditional breakfast and lunch at an nice restaurant, only one drink was included. I took two drinks and the guide even paid for the second one, excellent from the guide. The guide Carlos answer all the questions we have for him, he know all you need to know about the Rio Celeste and the rain forest. He bring a telescope and binocular for your own pleasure so you can view animals from long distance. He take time to take pictures of you and your wife. I recommend Carlos and his company to anyone who visit Liberia Canton. Daniel MathieuThis tour was incredible! My new wife and I really enjoyed all this had to offer. This tour was incredible! My new wife and I really enjoyed all this had to offer. It was a little more private than some of the others like the Buena Vista. Our guide Ozzie was so polite and helpful. The driver Heider was great as well! The horseback riding had breathtaking views of the volcano. The zip lining was better than I have ever done(been in Puerto Rico and St. Marteen as well as back in the States). Lunch was delicious Costa Rican cuisine, and the all Natural mud bath and hot springs were unforgettable! This was well worth the money!I'm a city girl who ended up loving every bit of Costa Rica because of Carlos and his magic. The transportation was comfortable and perfect. I'm a city girl who ended up loving every bit of Costa Rica because of Carlos and his magic. The transportation was comfortable and perfect. We came during the "green" season, which usually means rain, but the day was sunny and bright. Carlos came with a cooler full of water and a head full of awesome knowledge about his country, including almost every bird, animal, and bug! He took us to Miravalles-Hornillas Hot Springs, National Volcano Tenorio Park, Rio Celeste Waterfall, and several lookouts and amazingly beautiful sites. I'm not an experienced hiker (at all) but he made me feel confident and able to hike the full 4km of the park. He arranged the most wonderful and authentic Costa Rican lunch for us and we ate amongst the local folks and really relaxed. We would hire again in a heartbeat! We're planning on coming back and will send more time with him showing us "his country." He made us fell like family, and who could ask for more? Thank you Carlos for the kindness, knowledge and cool sense of humor!! My partner and I had the great privilege of having Carlos as our private tour guide for the day to visit Rio Celeste and Parque Nacional Volcan Tenorio. Carlos was extremely knowledgable about birds, wildlife, plants and many ecological issues. His English was excellent so he was able to easily share a great deal of information with us. From our observations of several other tour guides with their clients, we clearly had the best guide. Knowing that I hoped to see a sloth, Carlos tried his best driving around later to find one. The park and the Rio Celeste are beautiful and I recommend a visit to this area. Dress appropriately with proper footwear! Have a plastic bag handy to keep your electronics in. Following our visit to the area, Carlos took us to a local restaurant serving authentic and delicious food. A great day!We had a terrific all day "birding" tour led by Carlos Bello of Green Life Tours this past Saturday, May 7, 2016. We had a terrific all day "birding" tour led by Carlos Bello of Green Life Tours this past Saturday, May 7, 2016. He was punctual for our 5:00 am pickup at the Riu Guanacaste Hotel, arriving in a very comfortable van. We stopped for a lovely breakfast (our orders were called in ahead of arrival). Later in the day we also had a delicious lunch stop. Within a short time the 4 of us + Carlos were exchanging jokes and having a very lively conversation. Carlos stopped along the way whenever a bird was sighted and photos were snapped, binoculars focused and notes made. We hiked, climbed to beautiful vistas and thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent scenery. Carlos knew where to locate the birds. He carried a spotting scope to enable close up views. We recommend Carlos Bello of Green Life Tours to anyone who wishes to experience the lovely culture, beauty, and diversity of Costa Rica. Recommendations of what to bring along: hiking shoes/boots, long pants, sun hat, binoculars (Carlos can provide), camera, sun screen, insect repellent. Carlos provides cold water. From the moment we contacted Carlos he did a fabulous job with our vacation. He was very responsive to all of my emails and made planning our vacation super easy. From the moment we contacted Carlos he did a fabulous job with our vacation. He was very responsive to all of my emails and made planning our vacation super easy. Once we told him what we were looking for in our vacation he came back with a great itinerary that met everything we asked for. A few revisions and we had the perfect vacation. It started by Carlos picking up our party of eight at the airport. He had a cooler full of beverages and lovely cool washcloths for our faces. A very nice treat with the heat of Costa Rica. We made a small detour on the way to our villa and stopped at a market to get some groceries for our stay. We then enjoyed the day exploring around the property near our villa. That night we had a great dinner at Father Rooster's a recommendation by Carlos. The first day of our vacation we spent at Buenos Vista, Carlos picked us up bright and early to start our day. We zip lined, rode horses, went to a hotspring with a mud bath, went down a water slide and also did a great hike to a beautiful waterfall. Because of Carlos's contacts we were able to arrive at Buenos Vista ahead of the crowds and we had basically a private tour of everything we did. Amazing experiences. Our second day we told Carlos that we wanted to go fishing and boating. He found us a boat to charter for the day and it was wonderful. Fishing, snorkeling and sub winging as well as an amazing beach lunch with fresh fish, chicken and lobster tacos. Could not have been a better day. Carlos definitely knows what he is doing and has great contacts. We then decided to have a day at our villa and the beach and pool near our property. We needed to rest after our first 2 days. That evening Carlos found a lovely Italian restaurant for us to have dinner at. Villa Italia was great. Some yummy Italian always hits the spot. Our last full day in CR Carlos recommended an ATV tour and surf lessons in Tamarindo. Just when we thought the vacation couldn't get better we had these experiences. Carlos was right on for everything he planned for us. The kids and adults all loved both activities. We then finished the evening at Pangas in Tamarindo for dinner on the beach with the prettiest sunset ever. We even had the pleasure of having Carlos join us for dinner our last night. A perfect way to end a perfect trip. Our last day Carlos picked us up and got us to the airport. He even walked us in and got us through immigration to make sure we didn't have a questions. He was a great tour guide/ vacation planner and I would recommend him to anyone. When we go back we will be calling him. Or texting (he was kind enough to give us his cellphone so we could contact him anytime we needed something). It helped to make it a stress free vacation. I remember him saying his philosophy is he is here to make sure our vacation is perfect. He wanted us to love his country as much as he does and he definitely did that. Thanks Carlos for sharing Costa Rica with us!
