I highly recommend Wah who was our tour guide for this wonderful two-day adventure in Udup and the surrounding areas in Bali. It started with us hearing about Wah from some other guests, experienced world travelers, at the Ritz Carlton in Nusa Dua. They recommended him and connected us. We made arrangements for Wah to pick us up, drive us to Udup and give us a tour. Wah's communications were clear, timely, responsive, and respectful. All in English... until he taught me the saying "Ayoh!" which means "Let's Go!" in Indonesian. We had a lot of fun shouting out Ayoh! as we traveled from one adventure to the next. During our time with Wah, he took us to rice terraces, waterfalls, the Udup Monkey Sanctuary, a coffee plantation, a silver manufacturing and retailing company (we bought some great gifts there for ourselves and others (prapen.com), a local temple with a spiritual cleansing ritual, nice restaurants with Balinese cuisine and a great selection of other options, and more. He explained various options, listened to our interests, and took us where he knew we would enjoy the time. Wah is knowledgeable of the sites, the island, the country, the culture and more. He is proud of his culture and happy to share and respond to our curious questions. Wah's vehicle is a very comfortable and well maintained Toyota SUV. Apparently he vacuums it every night. His wife prepares a cooler with a thoughtful selection of beverages for his guests. He and his wife are very focused on ensuring clients are happy. And they did just that. Wah made our visit to Ubud truly memorable.81kanchany

My Driver was Dekjun, he was awesome! He not only drove me to the most famous spots around Ubud, he visited them with me! So I did not only have a driver, but a local tour guide included. He told me a lot about history and the sights and I also learned a lot about Bali culture during that day. I didn't need to think of anything, I could just enjoy the experience and Dekjuns company. I would 100% recommend him to everybody, no matter if you travel with a group or alone. He is a wholesome, kind and helpful person who also takes really good pictures :) Hope to see you again soon!
