A friend and I booked a flight to Chengdu from Jinan, one night in a hotel (Holiday Inn express), and two half day tours with an English-speaking guide and we had a fantastic time! Libby, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the area and did a great job showing us around the Wuhou Shrine and Jinli Street and taking us to an authentic Chinese restaurant. The next morning she took us to the Chengdu Panda Research Base and saw so many adorable pandas. It was a magical experience! She also took us to the Jinsha Site Museum and the Chengdu People’s Park. We are so glad that we saw many historical sites on our tour in addition to seeing the pandas. This trip was worth every penny we paid for it!An interesting trip to see panda breeding and interact (distantly) with them. Our guide Kiera Li is tireless at Emei Shan(Mountain) taking us around all the sights. Bring good walking shoes! She is also cheery and bright and certainly livened up our stay. Thank you Kiera.

We never forget our lovely trip in Chengdu this year in Oct. Our 3 night stay in this city was a part of our 15 day great journey in China which we purhased from Travel China Guide. Della is our charming, courteous and very pleasant guide. She speaks english very good and cater our needs in Chengdu from airport pick-up, tours until excorting us to train station. She and the driver (forgot his name) were making our experience truly special. We went and visited Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jinli street, wide and narrow alley, Jinsga site museum and Leshan Giant Buddha. The only dissapointment was only at the Giant Panda Breeding as we could not touch and take photo with young Panda. The research base was packed with people therefore it was hardly to see the overall attraction. This place is much suitable for family with children. However we were happy at least we knew this famous attraction. We hope we can return someday for more relax holiday in Chengdu and Visit Emeishan, Hongzhushan forest. We visited Chengdu through Travel China Guide in November 2019. Leila was our guide. We visited Chengdu through Travel China Guide in November 2019. Leila was our guide. The experience was fabulous. Leila was extremely pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. She went out of her way to be helpful. She took us to an opera and stayed with us the whole time. She took our group to an awesome restaurant and also recommended some very good HotPot places. I am planning to visit Tibet in the future and will request Leila as my guide. She is a gem!!Jack was our TravelChinaGuide tour guide in Chengdu. Jack was our TravelChinaGuide tour guide in Chengdu. Jack and the driver who was arranged for us made our trip to Chengdu quite memorable. Jack is one of the most committed tour guides we ever had in our life, and that is saying something. He is in his late 20s and therefore quite enthusiastic and fit. But he put all that to good use by pushing us to our limits and making us explore every aspect of any site or attraction we visited. It was clear that he had meticulously researched about every site we visited. He was very considerate and proactively offered to help us order meals at restaurants. He helped us shop at a local grocery store and went above and beyond to drop those groceries at the high-rise condo we rented. We would also want to mention the driver who was arranged for us. She was the only female driver that was allotted during our travel in China. Even she was quite considerate. It is a pity we failed to learn her name. Public park, Panda Research Reserve, and Leshan Giant Buddha are top attractions to visit in Chengdu. Overall, we very highly recommend taking a tour with Jack.
