My husband and I did the half-day tour of Lisbon with Daniel. Daniel punctually picked us up from our hotel in Belem and provided excellent commentary from the first minute. I had studied in Portugal many years ago and was familiar with the sights and history but for my husband, it was a fantastic introduction to the country and city. Daniel was wonderful company - informative, funny, personable and very approachable. He managed to present a large amount of information in a friendly, non-patronising way and my hubby said the tour was one of the highlights of our trip for him. Personally, I would have liked to visit a couple of additional sights (the Praca do Comercio, Castelo Sao Jorge) but I guess there are only so many sights you can fit into four hours given the traffic in Lisbon. Muito obrigada, Daniel! This was a fabulous tour! Our guide, Diogo was excellent. Very informative and knowledgeable. He also provided us with some great recommendations for things to do in and around Lisbon and where to eat!! Highly recommend.

Diogo was just wonderful! At the end of our 4 hours, he felt like a member of our family. He immediately picked up on our interest, not only in the iconic places and neighborhoods to see in Lisbon, but also in the history of the Jewish people in Portugal. He was a wealth of fascinating information — so knowledgeable. He told us wonderful stories which brought the history and places alive. If that wasn’t enough, he followed up with an an email filled with a bibliography to supplement the information he shared. We could not recommend him more. If ever we are to travel to Lisbon again, we would ask for Diogo to guide us!
