Leon was an excellent, I was going to say guide, but he is more like a companion. His friendly demeanour coupled with his enthusiastic and knowledgable approach made our day. His passion for the island is infectious and his desire to make your tour the best it can possibly be makes you feel assured you picked the right tour. Our tour was to Ricks cafe, but Leon made it so much more than that with several suggested stops, however we were never rushed and you never felt pressured. Nothing was too much trouble for Leon and he made the day amazing. I cannot recommend him highly enough as in 30 years of travelling he is probably the best tour guide I’ve met.Best tour we've had so far in Jamaica. Omar is an excellent guide and made sure we had a good time. I would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate doing this tour again. Definitely worth it.

We booked to go to 7-mile beach and Ricks Cafe with Jamaica Experience Tours after having a great experience with them on an excursion to Martha Brae River. The communication with both Ryan and Leon was great and they made us feel like VIPs, especially when we were picked up from our hotel by Ryan and Leon stopped off to say hello to us on the way to pick up guests for another excursion! On the way, Ryan stopped off at Fort Charlotte, which was unexpected but a great addition to the trip to learn more about the history of the island and see some amazing views. He also pointed out lots of hotspots and told us some interesting facts about the areas we travelled through on our way to Negril. When we arrived at 7-mile beach, we were given wrist bands, provided with a sun bed each, a parasol and a small table (for a small fee of $10 per person) and were welcomed to use the full stretch of the beach of the activities / restaurants / bars available (although these do cost extra). There were quite a few people selling their products, like souvenirs, bandanas, clothing etc. so be prepared to politely decline quite a bit if you’re not interested. We stayed at 7-mile beach for a couple of hours before we headed to Ricks Cafe - there wasn’t a time limit and Ryan was very flexible with how long we wanted to spend on the beach which was great! Then, we went on to Ricks, only a 15 min journey from 7-mile beach and it was great! Quite a relaxed vibe when we first arrived as it was quiet, but had more of a party feel as the afternoon went on and as more guests arrived - it was a great atmosphere! The cliff jumping was great to watch, and we didn’t realise until later on that there were smaller areas to jump from down the steps for those who wanted to do it but didn’t want to jump from a height. The food was good, but not as good as some of the traditional Jamaican food we had eaten on other excursions (like Scotchies and Border Jerk)! When we were done, we asked Ryan if we could go back to the hotel (it had started to rain at this point) and he was more than happy to take us back whenever we felt we were ready. Overall, we had a brilliant day, and it was made relaxing, fun and educational thanks to Jamaica Experience Tours, particularly our tour guide, Ryan - thank you! This is by far the best tour We’ve been on Ryan was a great host, very hospitable. The bus was clean and has Wi-Fi
