We start from Nafplio port and your cruise ship to visit Mycenae & Epidaurus and also explore Nafplio "old town" and enjoy lunch with the locals avoiding the tourist traps.

The home of King Agamemnon and the Mycenean civilization.
Mycenae 'Rich in Gold', the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon, first sung by Homer in his epics, is the most important and richest palatial centre of the Late Bronze Age in Greece.

Nafplio is one of the most beautiful towns in the area of Argolis (Eastern Peloponnese) as well as one of the most romantic cities all over Greece.

We had a fantastic day tour with Nikos of Eudamionia Private Tours to Mycenae and Nafplio. He met us at the dock with a large van that was clean and provided bottled water. On our way to Mycenae, he stopped at a wonderful bakery for breakfast. He answered questions about the countryside and even made a few scenic detours through the orange groves.
