First of all, of course the Dingle peninsula is breathtakingly beautiful! The driving tour was wonderful, weather was perfect, it was just a beautiful day to take in Ireland. But the best part of the tour was our driver, Paudie! It was like driving around with an old friend, he took us to the out of the way places, told us history, shared his life stories with us since he grew up around there, that made the trip worth every cent. When we return, I would hope that we could meet up with Paudie again and spend the day with him. Just an awesome experience! We had an incredible day, with our driver focused on our interests and needs, the hours slipped past faster than I recount. As an amateur photographer, I captured more than 1,200 images, many of which I never would have found without the skills and experience of our guide.

We had an amazing day with our guide. He picked us up at our hotel in Killarney and we spent the day on the peninsula. Although it was rainy and cool, we still had good visibility of all the major sites. He took us to several archeological sites and we even held a baby lamb. Lunch was in Dingle which is a colorful charming town. The mountain passes are spectacular and the beaches are beautiful. As a native, he knew so much about the area, both past and present. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.Rorys very enthusiastic and clearly loves Dingle. Rorys very enthusiastic and clearly loves Dingle. As well as giving us a beautiful tour of the peninsula, he gave us valuable information about the rest of our trip in Ireland. Because of him, we went to the Joyce Country Sheepdogs. That was a fabulous morning and we wouldn't have known about it without his recommendation. We also had a delicious meal at O'Grady's on the Pier in Barna, thanks to his advice! My husband and I rented a car for a 2 week trip around Ireland. My husband and I rented a car for a 2 week trip around Ireland. I thought it would be a nice break for us to do a private Dingle Peninsula day tour. Paudie was our driver/tour guide, he picked us up at our Inn, on time in a nice clean van. He was very personable, grew up on the Peninsula, so beyond the history he also shared interesting stories of growing up there. We had a very enjoyable day, shared lots of laughs and learned so much about the area that we would have missed driving on our own. Money well spent - we highly recommend!!!We were in Ireland for nine days in May 2019, and the day touring the Dingle Peninsula with our guide, Mossie, was the highlight of our trip! We were in Ireland for nine days in May 2019, and the day touring the Dingle Peninsula with our guide, Mossie, was the highlight of our trip! In addition to his showing us wonderful, beautiful, interesting places, he was an absolutely delightful person with an encyclopedic knowledge of his country! We had instant rapport, and many, many laughs! We hope to go back next year and spend more time with Mossie seeing beautiful and historic Ireland!
