Our tailored six hour tour with Silvia was superb and enabled us to plunge deeply into both recent and distant history of Dresden, while enjoying the countryside and less hectic pace of smaller communities just beyond the major metropolitan area. Silvia's training and experience has equipped her to provide meaningful explanations of the unusual twists and turns of religious, political, socioeconomic and international forces that have collectively charted the path for this gem of a city on the Elbe.We met Silvia Troster at the train station in Dresden, we came from Berlin for the day, she was fantastic, in 2.5 hours she showed us the highlights of this beautiful city, we were so happy with her that we asked her for an additional hour which we used for a guided tour of the Dresden Royal Pala...
We met Silvia Troster at the train station in Dresden, we came from Berlin for the day, she was fantastic, in 2.5 hours she showed us the highlights of this beautiful city, we were so happy with her that we asked her for an additional hour which we used for a guided tour of the Dresden Royal Palace museum, it was excellent, her knowledge of history and art was impeccable , I recommend her highly, we really enjoyed our day there.I had the pleasure of taking a customized five-hour walking tour with Silvia Tröster in late July 2019. I had the pleasure of taking a customized five-hour walking tour with Silvia Tröster in late July 2019. I had asked for a tour that would include the historic highlights of the city, but with a focus on the later years (from WW2, through the DDR-era, to the re-unification). Silvia was able to accommodate these requests to full extent. She came prepared with several photos and pictures so that we could compare Dresden of today with the city's past. When it comes to the history of Dresden, Silvia is an expert! And she is great at sharing her knowledge. I can highly recommend her tours!
