Can’t imagine ANYONE knowing more about WW2 and the Normandy area than our guide, Boy. We took all three days of tours offered, and enjoyed them all. Boy is knowledgeable, passionate, and articulate—his English was excellent. We required some extra attention, as my husband needed a wheelchair, and Boy was most patient and accommodating,— we were slower getting in and out of the van, etc. The van was clean, comfortable, Boy is an excellent driver, and we were able to have lunch at ocean view local restaurants. Having Neptune Battle Tours in charge of our Normandy excursion those three days absolutely made our bucket-list trip perfect. He even shared a great little historic place to stay, with the atmosphere of medieval times—Belle Normandy—all the modern amenities but much as Bayeux was a thousand years ago!Boy's tour was simply amazing!!! We could not have enjoyed it more! Even his suggested lunch spot was the best sandwiches we had on the entire trip :) Jim, Steve, Kris and Jenny

This is a MUST-DO experience while visiting Normandy! Boy was a phenomenal guide!!! We booked an all-day private tour, Boy was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He picked us up at our hotel in a very comfortable van. Boy is fluent in multiple languages and it was very easy to understand the narratives of all the D-Day locations we visited. The tour was the highlight of our vacation! You can confidently book with Neptune Battle Tours! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.What an impactful experiemce Boy afforded us. My friend and I had a wonderful tour with Boy. He brought great stories and perspective to the experience to make it come alive. He was very flexible and easy to chat with, it felt like we were driving around with and old friend. Boy has plenty of knowledge, but doesn’t overwhelm you with statistics. We got to learn about both the “big picture” of D-day and the operations that followed, plus some individual stories of certain soldiers and units. I honestly was a bit uncertain having a tour guide who wasn’t originally from the Normandy area, but I’m very glad Boy was our guide after all. His passion for the history but also his humility and kindness made it a perfect experience. Plus he actually has family connections to Normandy via his girlfriend/partner who is a “true” local ;) We had about 5 hours which allowed us to see Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and the American Cemetery. Plus a couple roadside mini-stops. One of my favorite stops was down a side road into a farm field of where there were 2 old German bunkers. Boy took us at a great pace, I’m glad we just did those couple of places rather than trying to rush through a million things. It was surreal to imagine the soldiers who had to slowly work through this land and the dangers they faced. It was actually later in the day, reflecting on what we had seen that the emotions hit me even harder. I would love to go back again as there is more to see than can be done in one day. Thank you to Boy for hosting us and for his commitment to honoring veterans, the people of Normandy, and visitors alike.
