Great day to spend. Pick up anywhere in Podgorica was really convenient, as I was pretty far away from the city center. A full day tour also really was a full day, no time was wasted! Even though there is quite some driving involved, it's pretty much all through scenic roads and mountain rich areas with diverse backgrounds. This was one of the few tours that also visits Biogradska Gora, and it's absolutely worth it, despite it being very rainy there the day I went. We went through a bunch of diverse locations, and Nino gives you the option to skip certain things if you're less interested in it. He's very knowledgeable on both the flora, fauna and the history behind the country and the locations you'll visit. Great value for the money, being said by someone who rarely does tours at all! What an amazing day exploring the canyons and the national parks. Nino was a great tour guide and driver; easy to communicate. Had lunch with a good view. The Tour itself consists of the perfect activities to experience Montenegro‘s nature and history. It takes a full day and it is 100 percent worth what you pay. Also in comparison this Tour is cheaper than other tours likes this and I couldn’t imagine anything that could better the experience we had. Thank you so much! Before the tour, Nino messaged me and made me aware of the weather and what I needed to bring. He came to the pick up spot right on time. Before the tour, Nino messaged me and made me aware of the weather and what I needed to bring. He came to the pick up spot right on time. This was the only tour I could fit in, as I was visiting Podgorica for the weekend and it was such a good way to see a lot in one day. I also went zip lining at the Tara Canyon which was so much fun! Nino is also very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. There was a 1hour hike in Durmitor which was quite easy. At some point it started to rain, Nino brought some raincoats and umbrella for us so we didn’t get soaked- this was very thoughtful of him. There were stops along the way to buy snacks and then lunch where we got to eat grilled fish (absolutely delicious)! I highly recommend this tour with Nino if you’re in Podgorica. We were only in Montenegro for a few days and wanted to see as much as we could while we were there - and we certainly managed that with this tour! Nino was a wonderful tour guide and gave us an amazing experience, and was also ready to adapt the tour to our needs/interests while still managing to see so much of Montenegro's stunning national parks. My wife and I have just arrived from a four-week trip to Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina. We did five tours with different organizations during our time there. Most impressive was the private tour that we did with a very knowledgeable guide called Nino (Private Full-Day Tour in Moraca and Tara Canyons.) Nino picked us up at our hotel in Podgorica before 8:00 AM and brought us to see some of Montenegro’s most beautiful natural attractions. We enjoyed visiting the 13th century Morača Monastery where Nino had us meet and talk for about an hour with one of the senior monks, a kind and jovial man who explained the wonderful frescos of Dorde Mitrofanović inside the monastery. We saw Marshal Tito’s famous hunting lodge as we entered pretty Durmitor National Park. We drove through picturesque Kolasin, Montenegro’s main mountain resort, before heading into Biogradska Gora National Park for a short visit. For most of the day, we saw breathtaking river canyons (Tara and Morača), majestic mountains and wonderful forests as we drove towards Kolasin, Mojkovac, Zabljak and Savnik. Our day finished well after dark as we returned to our hotel in Podgorica around 8:30 PM. My wife and I highly recommend taking this tour with a knowledgeable guide like Nino who has studied his country’s history and who knows much about his country’s natural wonders. Also keep in mind that Nino is a very good and safe driver. As Montenegrin roads are very often snake-like and narrow, this is an important factor to consider in choosing the right tour guide.
