Without doubt, the best thing we did in India was come across Janu & his company. Janu goes above and beyond in every way to help out. He genuinely wants each of his clients to have the best experience possible and it shows. A true professional at their finest, excellent communication & a great sense of humour! His team are friendly, knowledgable & could not do enough to ensure we had a good time. We were blessed to have Jaheer as our guide around the city of Jaipur. On the morning of, myself & friend were unwell & without thought Jaheer brought us to a local pharmacy so we could get some medication. He translated & ensured we had exactly what we needed before we took off. The man has the patients of a saint! The private tours can be catered to your specific interests, which is what Jaheer did while telling us about the history of the city as we drove. There is not a back ally or side lane of Rajasthan this man does not know (probably India in fact). Which means he was also able to recommend the best places to eat & shop. If Jaheer happens to be your guide I can promise you that you’re in for a real treat! There is no question, Janu Private Tours would be my recommendation for anyone going to India. What to add? Just read the last 10 reviews, it is all true. Tour with Janu is really the best thing you can do. We celebrated Holi with him and his employees, too much fun! Flexible, uncomplicated, modest. Thank you Janu!

We met Manu at the Jaipur Junction Railway Station. He welcomed us in Jaipur with delicious lassi. My wife finally had “real” lassi. He took care of everything for us like connecting us with guides for tours in the city, making sure we were comfortable. All the guides he connected with us were knowledgeable. He also took us to Jodhpur and found us a good guide to tour the city.I found Janu by chance through this website, wanting to do a little independent sightseeing for the next day. I found Janu by chance through this website, wanting to do a little independent sightseeing for the next day. He was immediately friendly, flexible and accommodating. There was no need to follow a scheduled tour and he proposed a reasonable price up front for a half day tour. We went to the Amber fort, some quiet extra village sites and ended up in a peaceful Royal gator. He then proposed a special tour of the observatory by Amit and I ended at the city museum ~ avoiding all the tourist crowds. He simply loves his job! Thank you for a special, personalised service where he just dropped plans on New Years Eve and assisted from 8:30 - 2.
