Stop At: Robben Island Museum, Cape Town Central 7400 South Africa
We will start this amazing experience with a pick up from your hotel at approximately 08H00 en route to the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island for a 3 to 4-hour experience to see where Nelson Mandela and so many other civilians, politicians were incarcerated during the Apartheid regime. Skip the line of buying the tickets as this tour will have your pre-booked ticket ahead of time. Please take note that Robben Island Museum reserved the right to cancel any given tour at their own discretion. In the case of cancellation, you will be entitled to a full refund or an option to reschedule. Your guide-driver will not escort you to the Island as they have their own guides. You will be on the boat with other people. You will be given a full tour by an ex-prisoner.

Stop At: Table Mountain National Park 8001 South Africa
Soon after returning from your Robben Island Tour experience, we will allow you to grab a sandwich or light lunch at own account at a nearby restaurant. Our next stop before we arrive at Table Mountain, we will allow you a 15 minutes stop for a photo opportunity in the Bo-Kaap ( The Colourful houses). From here, we will drive to the Cable Car station, where you will be given your return ticket by your guide. The guide will escort you for maximum experience. From here, we will drop you off at your residence in Cape Town.

Rundum ein gelungener Tagestrip. Ist zu empfehlen, da Kapstadt für Touristen leider nicht ganz sicher ist.

This tour was absolutely phenomenal! Don’t miss out on this one! Our house Armand was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. As we drove to the ferry, he provided history on the town and also pointed out the various landmarks on our way. He gave us the run down of how the day and tour would go and then escorted us to the ferry. Upon our return from Robben Island, we told him we wanted to buy a few spices. He took us to Bo Kaap which is neighbor lined with beautiful & colorful architecture. In the area, we went to a lovely spice shop. After the spice shop, he took us to Table Mountain where we rode a cable car to the top and he took us on a guided tour around the mountain pointing out neighborhoods and landmarks for us to view on each side of the mountain. Lastly, Armand took us to a market where we bought various souvenirs. It was perfect as we were able to find everything we wanted. I am so happy I booked a private tour as this was the best experience with the most amazing host!Our tour guide Elie picked us promptly at our BnB. He was so professional, knowledgeable and patient. Very good and informative tour. The bust tide was good even though we were warned about motion sickness. The guide on the bus was well versed and made us all feel comfortable before we were exposed to the ugliness of apartheid regime prison life. The former inmate was pretty matter of fact and not as emotional as I would have expected after spending 18 years behind those bars. I wondered how stupid the guards must have been to allow so much to go on under their noses, including Mandela writing a book and getting it out piece by piece. Unfortunately, the clouds didn’t cooperate at Table Mountain, so all we experienced was the Table Cloth at the top. Views were spectacular 1/2 to 2/3 up, but at the top we couldn’t see anything but fog.
