Our tour begins with your hotel pick up and then an hour and a half drive to the Chilean coastline. We start the drive along the coast in Concón, known for its seaside restaurants and surf shops. We pass by the impressive Concón Sand Dunes where we will have panoramic views of Valparaiso Harbor.

The tour continues through the popular beach town of Reñaca where on most days we will spot sea lions lying on the coastal rocks.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Vina del Mar, Vina del Mar, Valparaiso Region
We then drive through Viña del Mar, Chile’s “Garden City, ” where you will see the city’s landmarks, including the Flower Clock and Casino, a “Moai” statue from Easter Island, as well as the city’s pristine beaches.

Stop At: Valparaiso, Valparaiso, Valparaiso Region
Afterwards, we reach our main destination, Plaza Sotomayor, the heart of Valparaiso. We will ride up an old funicular to Concepcion and Alegre Hills. Bohemian and colorful, Valparaiso’s maze of hills has long inspired poets and writers. You will discover something new at every turn – a gem of a building, a remarkable art gallery or some little gastronomic ‘find’. Revel in the architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage City. Stroll along its narrow streets, climb its endless staircases, and enjoy panoramic views from its many lofty lookout points.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Vina Casas del Bosque, Hijuela 2. Ex Fundo Santa Rosa Valle de Casablanca, Casablanca Chile
After exploring Valparaiso, we will journey inland to the Casablanca Valley where we will stop at Casas del Bosque Vineyard for a tour and wine tasting. Today, Casas del Bosque is one of the most important wineries in Chile. In 1993, a family of Italian descendants established the winery. The large old pine and olive trees, and small white houses of adobe, define the name “Casas del Bosque” (Houses of the Forest). Currently, the vineyard has 580 acres of planted vines, exclusively dedicated to the production of cool-climate varieties of wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Syrah. One of Casas del Bosque’s biggest strengths is its soil. In the hills, red clay composites of volcanic origin sit on top of decomposed granite layers formed 110 million years ago beneath the Pacific Ocean. This soil gives their wines the unique characteristic sea salt flavor. Casas del Bosque has gained great prestige over the years and in 2010 became the Best Vineyard to Visit in Chile. Enjoy an informative tour, browse their gift shop and relax in their outdoor lounge area!

We met Sean when we first arrived in Chile en route to Antartica. We explained that although Antartica was our main destination we would be spending 3 days in Santiago on our way back to the UK and wanted to make as much of our time there as possible. He gave us his details and impressed by his pleasant manner and sheer enthusiasm we decided to look him up. We can honestly say that he gave us the best tours imaginable: 3 days we will not forget. The first day we did the Valparaiso/Vina del Mar and Casas del Bosque (Casablanca Valley tour) We had a late lunch at Vinamar de Casablanca which was superb- great wines and the best meal we can remember! The wines and tour at Casas del Bosque were excellent. The second day we went along the Maipo Canyon, el Morado Hot Springs with wonderful views of the Andes especially our truly memorable trip to El Yeso Dam. Our last stop that day was the Concha y Toro Winery tour. This is a more commercialised experience but what Sean gave us with a lot of thought was variety and a different type of experience in every way. The third and last day Sean took us on a walking tour of Santiago city. There was not a corner of the historic centre that we did not explore and enjoy. We started off at the Teleferico with a great perspective of the city from the top and then after coming down enjoyed all the various sites, museums and experiences we could possibly enjoy including a stop off to buy gifts for our large family. Sean’s love for the city and his adopted country is more than evident and it is contagious. He is 100% reliable, gives more of his time than he needs to , all visits are extremely well planned and timed to avoid crowds and he drives his comfortable SUV with great competence and skill. He is knowledgable having lived in Chile for some time and an especially thoughtful touch was each day after the tour he he would send pictures of the day to our phone. We hope we might to Chile again some day and should we do so would not hesitate to look him up.Una excelente atención desde el momento en que reservamos, ya que fue un tour que contratamos de ultima hora y fue uno de los mejores que tomamos durante todo el viaje, estoy seguro en considerar el resto de los servicios de la agencia en mi próximo viaje a chile, Sean fue un excelente guia.

My husband and I spent the day with Sean visiting Chile's coast, Valparaiso and Casas del Bosque Vineyard. Sean's knowledge of the area made the trip really interesting and exciting. After taking the cable car up the mountain to the incredible and artistic Valparaiso, we thoroughly enjoyed walking through this enchanting town and had a delicious lunch overlooking the waterfront. Our trip to the vineyard was equally informative and fun. I highly recommend this tour!We joined the private tour operated by Chile Dream Tours and the tour guide, Daniel, is so nice and knowledgeable. We joined the private tour operated by Chile Dream Tours and the tour guide, Daniel, is so nice and knowledgeable. Although the price is higher, it is absolutely worth because we can go where we want to and stay as long as we like. Valparaiso is so lovely and we strongly suggest to stay for overnight. Vina del Mar is also worth to stay for 1 to 2 days because you can go to the coastal area, facing the Pacific Ocean. The weather is good and you can see many kinds of sea bird and seal.Wir wurden pünktlich abgeholt. Auf der Tour konnten wir uns die schönsten Stellen an der Pazifikküste anschauen.
