Can’t say enough about how wonderful this trip was. We were on the Desert Castles tour the day before and really loved our guide, Abdo, so we booked the Umm Qais, Aljoun and Jerash tour and asked for him again. We are so glad we did! Umm Qais was amazing and a highlight of the trip so far. The views from the site to the Sea of Galilee, Golan Heights and even as far as Mr Hermon in Lebanon were simply spectacular. Being a little off the beaten path, we had most of the site to ourselves and took the time to really soak in the views. The use of black basalt throughout the site, from columns to the theatre, make the look really unique. Abdo was super helpful with tips on what to look for, which sites were best with a guide and even stopped and got us fresh falafel and bread for the journey. He was very kind and welcoming, and he truly loves showing off this beautiful country. On the way back to Amman you get to spend considerable time at Aljoun and Jerash as well, which are also amazing but much more crowded. If you are planning to go to Aljoun and Jerash, I highly suggest adding the couple of extra hours and taking this tour to Umm Qais with its rolling olive orchards, wildflowers, and spectacular views. Abdo would love to show you all the area has to offer! Thank you to him and the Al-Amal team!Netter Fahrer, der einem genügend Zeit für jede Sehenswürdigkeit lässt. Great drive. Hassan F. was my driver and he was wonderful. Plus he knows the places to take that special picture. Much better than touring with a large group.

It was leisurely paced, a great change from our 2 weeks trip. Great memories for the last day of our trip. Mohammad, the manager was super patient with my bazillion questions and changes.

We've just got back from this trip and it was fabulous. So much to see and learn about. Our driver Mahmmud Darwish was brilliant. He communicated with us for pick-ups after each visit, was polite, helpful and good fun. Can't fault the organization of the trip as it was only booked two days ago. I have no hesitation in recommending both this trip and the driver.
