My husband and I booked a private full day tour of Kornati Islands directly with Speed Boat Zadar via FB Messenger. It was less expensive by $100 than booking through TripAdvisor. Everything went beautifully....Our guide Marin met us on time exactly where he said he would be at the Marina. We paid him at the days end...no money deposit beforehand. The Kornati Islands are a unique and beautiful landscape. Marin is extremely easy to be around, is very knowledgeable, helpful, and a lot of fun. He left us to ourselves when we stopped at islands to explore for as long as we wanted, answered all our questions, wrote down the names of the places we visited, and even recommended a great restaurant for dinner later that night. Our tour stops included Mana Island (a former movie set), lunch at Kornat Soleta restaurant which was fabulous, Lorena beach at Lavrnaka Island were we swam, and Osljak where we stopped for a beer and played bocce ball. He pointed out other islands and interesting characteristics of them as well as the whole area. Don'a miss an opportunity to do this. I wish I could do it all over again. Toni made our afternoon on the water around Zadar a wonderfully fabulous part of our cruise through the Adriatic! We asked him for recommendations about what to do, so he recommended visiting two islands and then swimming in two secluded coves. It was perfect...a relaxing escape from crowded to...
Toni made our afternoon on the water around Zadar a wonderfully fabulous part of our cruise through the Adriatic! We asked him for recommendations about what to do, so he recommended visiting two islands and then swimming in two secluded coves. It was perfect...a relaxing escape from crowded tourist attractions and lots of fun as the boat sped around the bay! Swimming off the boat in the secluded coves made me feel like we were on a movie set since it was so beautiful! Toni had us back to the marina at exactly 4:00, and we were met by the fabulous taxi driver, Mato from Taxi Zadar, who had been with us all day. I highly recommend him if you are in Zadar without a car! He met us at our cruise ship and took us to the Sea Organ where he dropped us off to wander around the old town for an hour. Then he picked us up and took us directly to Speed Boat Zadar so that we arrived promptly for our 12:00 noon departure. When he picked us up at 4:00, he took us directly to our ship which eliminated a lot of concern for us and made our day even better. Our Skipper was fantastic and really made our trip something special; he was knowledgeable and helpful and most importantly very funny. We enjoyed the stunning scenery and snorkelling, tasted local fruits, enjoyed jumping into the sea from a jetty and a cold beer in a delightful beach bar. The sunset was spectacular. Thank you for an amazing trip from the Family Roberts
