My partner and I had the most amazing tour with Angie. She was a friendly and accommodating guide, we were the only people on the tour and Angie made us feel like VIPs! She went the extra mile to make sure our trip was special, including sourcing a cake and singing Happy Birthday to me within hours of finding out it was my birthday! The locations we visited were beautiful. We would highly recommend hopping on a pedalo on Lake Kournas - we were lucky enough to see the turtles and swimming in the middle of the deep lake felt magical. The people at the Olive oil factory and vineyard were very friendly and informative. Everything we tasted was amazing! Not to mention the setting of the vineyard looked like something out of a movie! Overall, we could not recommend this tour enough. Treat yourself - you won't regret it!10/10 tour guide. The hosts were the mosts accommodating. We just had long trip the day before, and my wife (who had a birthday) were feeling under the weather in the morning. Angie and Elpida were very supportive, offered a ton of help, and basically saved the day with their patience and flexibility. This was the true Cretan hospitality. The trip was great. Especially considering that this summer is the most unusual summer in decades for Crete. It wasoff the beaten path. We had a visit to the lake where we could sail on peddle-ship, then moved to the olive production facility, and eventually the winery (cheese plate was great with 5-wine course). Most unique and memorable.A great day out if you’re looking for a taste of Crete! A great day out if you’re looking for a taste of Crete! We were picked up at our villa at 10am, taken to a lake for a pedalo with a chance to see some turtles and other wildlife. Followed by a small tour at an olive oil producer with local olive oil and honey tasting, local produce available to buy. Finally had a tasty lunch accompanied with some wine tasting, and a tour of the winery itself. We’d totally recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a relaxed, enjoyable day out - our guide Angelina was very knowledgable and friendly, and very happy to recommend some nearby restaurants that have not disappointed. We’re very appreciative of the memories we’ve been able to make together 😁A brilliant trip where you can visit the only natural lake in the island, an olive oil factory that is owned by a local family for generations and then the wonderful wine tasting at Dourakis! A brilliant trip where you can visit the only natural lake in the island, an olive oil factory that is owned by a local family for generations and then the wonderful wine tasting at Dourakis! The amazing Angella whom I had the pleasure to have as a tour guide was very punctual, super friendly and welcoming and accommodating and made me feel like I’m going touring with one of my very family! This private tour is highly recommended and myself I will book her again when I’m back in town.
