He was nice and quite talkative. I'm not good at keeping conversation so it was nice that he is. Lots of great conversations we had and he was also very smart and helpful about the hike. I hiked in January and it was very cold and pretty icy. He was able to make sure that I, as an inexperienced hiker, could traverse the steep icy parts relatively easily and safely. Would highly recommend this hike to anyone who likes exercise and the outdoors.Mr. Chance is a very knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide. Mr. Chance is a very knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide. Once we decided to take the hard route to the top, he encouraged and helped us along the way. The hike to the top was full of exciting parts, steep climbs with rails, stairs and climbing through boulders. Mr. Chance also talked us through the different trees, insects and the different wildlife species of the park. Talking to him was a good introduction to Korean culture and people. It was an unforgettable experience and a must do if you are in Seoul. The trek was one of the main highlights of my trip to south Korea. Was an amazing workout and the view was incredible. The trek was one of the main highlights of my trip to south Korea. Was an amazing workout and the view was incredible. I wasn't quite prepared for the highest peak but my guide took me to an equally beautiful place. Mr Chance Kim was very friendly and kept a good pace i could stay with on the way up and back. He was very informative and we had a great chat about life politics and silly things 😜. We also had an amazing Korean meal after the hike, which was just what i needed after the hike and their food and service was amazing! I would definitely recommend this tour and i will be looking to get back and do another hike with Mr Kim when i can get back to seoul.Definitely a place to visit if you like hiking and you are in Seoul. I went during the weekday so there was less people at the peak. Mr Chance (hiking guide) is very knowledgable about the mountain routes and hiking in general. We had a great time hiking and having conversation about Korean history and culture. Would definitely pick him as guide the next time I am back! Extra precaution was taken, such as wearing mask and using sanitizer during this Covid-19 pandemic.we found Chance a very enthusiatic and courteous guide. he was quite engaging and it was a pleasure to be with him. the climb degreee of difficulty was compounded by a considerable degree of ice. fortunately Chance carried extra crampons which he made sure we wore. we would certainly recommend Ou...
