What a pleasure to be introduced to Inverness by Elle. The Tour itself was relatively short, but packed with information. We especially enjoyed the Cemetary. We also tried out her recommendations later and found them right on. I recommend this tour

Dan and Elle tell tremendous stories and have so many historical anecdotes to share. Out time went very quickly and I learned so much about Scottish history. Made me realize how little I know and found myself looking up all kinds of facts on the internet afterwards. So nice that they gave up their day off to take us around. Our group of six enjoyed a wonderful historical and cultural tour of Elgin in August. This was esprcially for one of our members, who was celebrating a big birthday. We all had a great time and, as well as learning lots of new facts and stories about our ancient city, we all had a lot of fun. The ideal combo event. Our birthday girl loved it all, especially the tailored add-ins and, even more especially, that Elvis led the tour! Dan responded magnificently to the information that the birthday girl is an Elvis fan. Dan and Elle's willingness and enthusiasm were second to none. We really appreciated them tailoring the tour around our birthday girl and our requests. We also really enjoyed chatting to them both during the tour.Elle & Dan are extremely knowledgable about Nairn, it's history and those who shaped it. Elle & Dan are extremely knowledgable about Nairn, it's history and those who shaped it. Above all extremely great hosts and went above and beyond for us by allowing us to change he date we had booked, resulting in an (extended) private tour. I'm from Nairn and learnt a lot about where I was born and brought up and also saw things I've never seen before like the Coat of Arms on the Nairn Court House. And shared a few wee stories too.Really memorable and enjoyable walking tour around Nairn. Really memorable and enjoyable walking tour around Nairn. Despite having come to Nairn for many summers while I was growing up, there were so many places, people and hidden features that have an important place in Nairn's history that I never knew about. Dan and Elle were very enthusiastic and really know their stuff. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone.Where did Leopold Street get its name? Do you know where the 'Dukes Bedroom' is? Or how about when the last hanging was in Nairn? Have you ever noticed the ordinance survey marking on the Townhouse? And just how many Townhouses are there in Nairn? Where did Leopold Street get its name? Do you know where the 'Dukes Bedroom' is? Or how about when the last hanging was in Nairn? Have you ever noticed the ordinance survey marking on the Townhouse? And just how many Townhouses are there in Nairn? The answers to all of these - and more fascinating questions - are just a fraction of the interesting facts that Elle and Dan enlighten you with on their unforgettable Nairn walking tours. I booked this tour as a surprise for my Father, who is a Nairnite through and through. Elle and Dan went the extra mile to include facts and figures just for him, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the insight. I would recommend this for locals and tourists alike, as Nairn - small as it is - has a rich heritage and the most phenomenal (sometimes unlikely!) back stories. 11/10 overall.
