What to expect
You will meet our 69 Alaskan Huskies and 12 puppies, meet each dog and learn more about them, and get a chance to cuddle them if you like (they are very energetic so be ready for dog hugs!). We will give you a glimpse into the daily life of a sled dog kennel and explain how we work with the dogs through the cold arctic winters.
Next, you will help us prepare a small team of 8-10 dogs, sit with us on a powerful ATV, and learn how we train our dogs pre-season. After, we will take the harnesses of the huskies and give them a lovely chunk of meat as a treat for their excellent work. The duration of these activities depends on the number of people but is generally between 1.5 and 3 hours. Tea, coffee & sweet snacks are also provided over an open fire. Please dress appropriately for weather, doggy hugs and forest trails.
IMPORTANT: Children of all ages can join the kennel experience (meeting the dogs) however, the ATV ride is only appropriate for children age 8 or above for safety reasons. Equally so it is not appropriate for people of ill health.

The staff were always kindly giving us new things to experience with the dogs. It was really a very good experience that I really want to do again. Visiting the huskies and take a ride with them was a great experience ! we're definetly coming back in the winter for some dog sledding !
