We booked a full day tour for our son who was supposed to have a day's stopover in Mumbai. I did all the coordinating on whatsapp with the company's manager who was available and cooperative. The tour we arranged included a pickup at the airport, a stop at the hotel to drop off my son's luggage and a return to the hotel. Convenient, tailor made, perfect for our needs. At the very last minute, or even after (in the small hours of the morning) it transpired that my son's flights have been totally messed up with unexpected cancellations, due to Jet Airways's financial downfall. I whatsapped my contact explaining the situation, early in the morning India time he saw the message and answered that he would hold the booking until further information was available, either postponing or even cancelling the tour. We landed up canceling the tour late that morning. He did not charge us! Fantastic flexibility, fantastic service, and a really good experience in the midst of an unpleasant flight crisis. We didn’t k ow what to expect but we were very impressed with the tour itself and our guide. With regards to the slum- do not hesitate to visit. It was enlightening and educational. Western society has a lot to learn about hard work and the innovative way the dense population makes this small area work. Very eye opening.Really interesting experience!! We were very pleased with this tour that brought a new appreciation and understanding to the activity inside the Dharavi Slum. The tour was professional and comprehensive, and after the first part (Dharavi) included a whirlwind tour of highlights of Mumbai. Even though it is many hours, it moves fast, and allowed us to quickly see some top attractions and gave us great foundation perspective of the city. The guide was informative and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour!We (family 2 adults, 6, 3 and 0 year old) had a fantastic day in Mumbai thanks to Raunak who took us through Dharavi and Siddhi who showed us the sites of Mumbai city. We (family 2 adults, 6, 3 and 0 year old) had a fantastic day in Mumbai thanks to Raunak who took us through Dharavi and Siddhi who showed us the sites of Mumbai city. Raunak was eloquent and thoughtful in his explanations about Dharavi, he allowed us to learn a little about his life and his future dreams. He gave us an insight on the hardworking community within the intensely populated area of Dharavi and we felt privileged to learn about a life so different from anything we’ve ever known. Siddhi was open, refreshingly honest and funny in his descriptions of Mumbai and we enjoyed the second part of the tour as well. I’d definitely recommend this tour, especially if you have little time, or want to get the lay of the land early in your Mumbai stay. It was really enjoyable and helped us understand more about the dichotomy within this amazing city.We were apprehensive booking this tour in advance of arriving in Mumbai. we were on Celibrity Constellation and had just one day in Mumbai. We were apprehensive booking this tour in advance of arriving in Mumbai. we were on Celibrity Constellation and had just one day in Mumbai. The owner Shailesh was there to greet us, we went on to enjoy one of the most enjoyable days we have ever had, Anthony our guide was great and looked after us all day, the highlight was the visit to the Mumbai slums, not what you would expect really poor people working hard but super people, we felt totally safe and met some really nice people. I would advise anyone to book this private tour.
