We were in Iceland for our 25th anniversary. Seeing the Northern Lights has been on my bucket list for a long time. This was my first chance to do so. Despite a favorable forecast for the Northern Lights, Mother Nature decided not to cooperate with a partially cloudy sky that wasn't forecasted. To be honest, I don't think I would have been able to spot the Northern Lights without Andres. He did a great job of locating a spot where we could see the Northern Lights and explaining what to look for. Once we spotted the Northern Lights, Andres brought out his camera with filters that allowed us to see them even better. He took several pictures of us with the Northern Lights to memorialize the trip. We would recommend using Andres if you are looking for a private tour to hunt for the Northern Lights.We had a wonderful experience car with Andres. He was very thoughtful and knowledgeable and took us to a spot where we would have the greatest chance of seeing lights - and we did. Highlight of our trip! Highly recommend.

I booked this as a private tour for 2. But it ended up being the guide, Andres, and 8 more people. Very crowded in the van. There was an older couple sitting in the front seat with Andres and the wife was an amateur photographer. After several hours and seeing some faint northern lights, the rest of us were ready to call it a night (or earyly morning as the case was) but the older wife sitting next to Andres kept swearing she saw something far away. The rest of us had to finally insist we had had enough. That said, Andres was very nice and really wanted to find us more lights. I think he would have stayed out all night if everyone wanted to.After a very wet n windy stay in Reykjavík, our night for Northern Lights trip with Andres .. as the day drifted to evening thankfully the sky’s cleared. After a very wet n windy stay in Reykjavík, our night for Northern Lights trip with Andres .. as the day drifted to evening thankfully the sky’s cleared. Andres collected us at 9-30 and we headed off the full moon and the clear sky’s were amazing , as all we’d seen for 4 nights was cloud ☁️ We had a long drive out but then 3 blue green strips of light appeared on our left it’s was amazing how they gently appeared then after a while faded .. Andres found a place to park and we all got out hoping for more ..we weren’t disappointed We had horses come to see what we were doing ,we can throughly recommend this tour to anyone .. I didn’t believe we would see them as the weather since arriving had been terrible Andre found them and we thank him so much for that ..Andres was so great! He is really prompt at responding to email. There were 4 of us and he picked us up from our hotel for our northern lights tour. He brought his dog, Hercules, with him! Andres was so great! He is really prompt at responding to email. There were 4 of us and he picked us up from our hotel for our northern lights tour. He brought his dog, Hercules, with him! It was great for us because we are total dog people. (If dogs aren't your thing, he is a really good boy and he is in the back behind a gate). We went on the tour last week (early September) so it wasn't very strong into the season. I think we were only a 3 on the scale or something like that, but Andres tracked the best location to go to. We drove for awhile but ended up seeing the lights! We also saw some shooting stars which was awesome. Our camera couldn't capture the lights, but Andres took some awesome pictures and emailed us about 40 photos within an hour of us getting back from the tour. The lights were better earlier in the week, before we arrived, so he even included some of those photos in his email. It was nice to just be on a private tour in a car and not in a big bus with multiple other people. No one else was in our spot when we saw the lights - we had the place to ourselves! Andres is a really nice guy and you can tell he works very hard to ensure that everyone has a great experience. Andres even gave us some good tips about the rest of our trip. It was a wonderful experience and we are really glad we booked the tour! Even though the lights weren't strong, we got to see them. Andres explained to us how to find the lights and how to see them which we wouldn't have been able to do on our own. It was a fun night!
