Sensational Marlborough Whitehaven wines to taste, gourmet tasting of Manuka honey, local gin and beer and many gourmet treats. Cafe at your beck and call. Quilters Barn for crafters and merino possum fibres in jumpers, gloves, hats and more.

The most popular stop of boutique confection you have ever tasted. Even the samples are generous and you will want to go up again to taste.

Your tour could include a scenic driver around the Bays of the Marlborough Sounds. Stopping for a local fresh seafood lunch or fresh fruit icecream and several high vantage points overlooking the Pelorus Sound first and then the Queen Charlotte Sound where your ship arrived into Port of Picton

- Cut off time for booking has been set for 12 hours prior to tour departure. Due to advance bookings being required for additional activities. However booking is flexible up to an hour prior to tour departure.

- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time

- Your tour guide provides a 6 seat vehicle for smaller private groups.
- Worry-free Shore Excursion: We will ensure your excursion ends with ample time for you to return to the Picton Port for your ship’s departure. In the extreme unlikely event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. If your ship is delayed and you are unable to attend this activity, your money will be refunded. See our terms and conditions for full details.

In all honesty, we cannot be certain of the name of the tour...no...it wasn't the effects of too much wine... we simply did not realise they offered so many tours. What we wanted was a local tour operator from Picton, where we were on a cruise ship, to take us around a range of Marlborough vine...
In all honesty, we cannot be certain of the name of the tour...no...it wasn't the effects of too much wine... we simply did not realise they offered so many tours. What we wanted was a local tour operator from Picton, where we were on a cruise ship, to take us around a range of Marlborough vineyards and to see the wonderful scenery...but not in a big group coach....and to be back in time to rejoin our ship..... We got precisely what we asked for. We visited St Clair, Cloudy Bay and Forrest cellar doors and our price included a good tasting at each location. We also visited VInes Village cafe and road-stop complex ,for a non-included lunch stop, the Makana chocolate factory and still had time for a scenic tour....and got back nicely in time for the shuttle back to the ship All this, coupled with an informative clear speaking local driver who was considerate to each passenger, (despite some language issues wit hour fellow guests - overall a really good trip and one we will repeat when next in Picton. Hope this helps.James L

Had a great day with Larissa who showed us fantastic scenery, lovely beaches along the Queen Charlotte Drive. We had the famous green lip mussels in the Captain's Daughter in Havlock. Before returning to the ship we tasted some delicious cheese. Terrific! The cruise ship tours can't compare.

Awesome sunny day of wine and food with Pamela. Great wines and food on this tour. We arrived early and were whisked away on an escorted tour of the Marlborough wine region. Pamela stretched the day perfect and we hoped on the second to last shuttle to the docks. Great value for a private tour co...
