We are so glad we chose Wendy Wu as our holiday company for a special trip to see the delights of China. The options available and brochure descriptions made the selection of our trip a simple step. The booking process and support including preparation of the visa applications was excellent. The trip was China Delights which lasted 18 days including flight times, and in our opinion it was ideal to see the main sights of China. The travel between the different locations varied from internal flights, a short cruise and the bullet train with all the usual hassles of getting tickets, handling your baggage being professionally taken care off by the Wendy Wu team. From arriving in China to our departure we were in the hands of an amazing tour guide called Amanda. This lady with the support of the local tour guides at each destination really made this holiday a delight! The hotels included on the tour were all excellent and the food in the local restaurants was very good. We cannot complete this review without saying how Amanda managed to make the trip so enjoyable. We were introduced to many aspects of Chinese culture, her special brand of humour and constant effort to make us free from stress in all aspects of the travel. The local tour guides also provided excellent coverage of their own particular locations. We did an amazing trip including the Yangtze River in April. Our national guide Betty was fantastic. We did an amazing trip including the Yangtze River in April. Our national guide Betty was fantastic. She shared so much of her life stories and the culture of China. Wendy Wu tours were easy to deal with from start. There were changes to the itinerary times because of an unexpected conference in Beijing but we were still able to have the full China experience and Betty went out of her way to accommodate everyone. I would definitely recommend using Wendy Wu tours to China and hopefully you will have Betty as your guide.Had a fantastic time on the Glories of China trip with Wendy Wu. Had a fantastic time on the Glories of China trip with Wendy Wu. Saw so much but it never felt rushed and we had enough free time at each site. Michelle was an excellent guide and looked after us all so well. She was very knowledgeable, very well organised and very friendly. She couldn't have done more for us. Would recommend this two week trip to anyone who wants to see the main highlights of China in two weeks. We have just spent 16 days from Beijing 23/10/18... on a tour of China with Wendy Wu. We have just spent 16 days from Beijing 23/10/18... on a tour of China with Wendy Wu. We certainly could not speak highly enough of our brilliant tour guide "Jason". He steered a group of 29 amazingly, on & off trains, flights, buses and made the trip such a success. Thank you The tour itself, was totally full on and not much more could have been included. If you decide to do a Wendy Wu, expect full long days, much walking (ok for retirees), chinese lunches & meals...(varied) . Had an amazing time in China. This was our second tour, having not seen Yangtze or much outside the capital cities before, enjoyed heaps. What a fantastic tour it was...we visited many cities and saw lots of attractions and ate various styles of Chinese cuisine. What a fantastic tour it was...we visited many cities and saw lots of attractions and ate various styles of Chinese cuisine. The dumplings in Xi'an were a highlight not to be missed. Our guide Ivan, was very professional, knowledgeable, and nothing was any trouble for him. Ivan seamlessly managed the very full-on schedule without missing a beat. Starting from Shanghai, the Bund, Colonial architecture, night river cruise and riding on the Maglev was fantastic. Along the way, the Yangtze River cruise through the 3 gorges was relaxing, the pandas, Terracotta Warriors, silk factory, jade factory, pagodas, and finally Beijing, the highlight for me, the Great Wall. The optional cultural tours are not to be missed. Fantastic Tour!!! Fantastic guide!!!!This was great holiday experience,we saw all the highlights of China that we had wanted to see. This was great holiday experience,we saw all the highlights of China that we had wanted to see. Our tour guide Nick did an excellent job getting us around China and made sure we all enjoyed our experience. The terracotta soldiers just blew your mind it will be something we will never forget, and we enjoyed all the different types of food at different restaurants each night. We had a great group of people on tour which made it very enjoyable and all had a good time. The holiday is very full on but you get to see a lot of places that you might not get to if you did it your self. Wendy Wu tours did a great job.
