Our tour guide Henry, was great! He was very personable and fun to talk with. He also did a great job customizing the trip to our desires. He also took us to a great local restaurant that we never would have found without him! We would definitely book with this company again!

We had booked with Croatia Private Tours, from India itself, when we were planning our trip to Croatia. And we’ve had a great experience so far. Today we went for a trip to Krka national park from Split. Firstly it’s a big advantage to be able to choose your start time, since it’s a private your. We started at 10 am after a relaxed breakfast. Hrvoje (the owner) himself drove us. It was good that he took us to the entrance where a short bus ride takes you to the park. This is at a higher level, so we walked downwards to the main waterfall. It’s a 40 minute pretty walk on a wooden pathway over a meandering river. Once you reach the waterfall, you can go into the water, but it’s a tough entry into the water if you’re not too fit, as you have to go down over slippery rocks, and climb back again! Out of 5 of us, 4 were able to go in, so it was worth it! We were given 2 hours in the park, which was sufficient time to enjoy the walk and the water and to have lunch. Vegetarians get only pizza, and fries at the stalls there. The restaurant offers a spaghetti and salad. Toilets charge 5 HRK, so make sure you carry the money when you go there. On the way out, we took the boat to Skradin (20 min) where we were met by Hrvoje in the car. The boat leaves every 1 hour and is just 10 minutes walk from the big waterfall. In another 45 mins by car, we were at Trogir, where he gave us 1 and a half hour to stroll around the old town and the promenade. We didn’t opt for the ‘farm to table’ lunch, as most of us are vegetarians. Thanks Hrvoje for a wonderful day!We toured Krka National Park with Croatia Private Tours this summer, and find the whole experience to be nothing but amazing. We toured Krka National Park with Croatia Private Tours this summer, and find the whole experience to be nothing but amazing. Hrvoje (Henry) is very responsive, knowledgeable and on time. The Krka Park is about 1 hour or so from Zadar cruise port. We spent about 2 hours at the park. It's truly amazing, a natural wonder. After our visit to the park, Hrvoje suggested we stop at a farm (Roca) for lunch. It's a farm to table kind of place, owned by a local family. The food was delicious and plentiful, truly nothing but Thanksgiving in May. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Hrvoje's company, well worth the cost. Thanks for a wonderful time.Hooray for Hrvoje who is the owner of the company. He drove us, three in the party, himself. First stop Kraka National Park and due to the fall of the terrain was smart enough to take us to the higher point of entry so that the walk down would be easier and more enjoyable for us. At the bottom of the trail we took a boat back to Skradin where he met us at the quay side. The waterfalls and walk was much better than the pictures we saw on the Internet. Really really picturesque. We went for the optional lunch he suggested in a nearby village which was excellent. Then we were driven to Sibnek for a shortish walk, it being a small town. The return journey was on the scenic coastal drive. Having lots of contact in the trade he was able to recommend a private guide for us to walk around Split old town the next day. Highly recommend his firm, prompt, reliable and friendly. Even told us about Don Dino, the best ice cream shop in Split.Damir was an amazing, sweet and kind driver who we will always remember! Damir was an amazing, sweet and kind driver who we will always remember! Thanks for everything. It was an expensive tour and worth every penny....only thing we were disappointed in was that we were told Klis Fort would be covered on receipt and it was not covered;( I would've been more vocal at the time, but didn't want to want to ruin the great day we already had. Wish we compensated after the tour, but we were not. Other than that...great company to deal with. Just be sure your receipts read, are as promised. Tolles Erlebnis!!!
