A private winter wine and scenic tour departing Picton at 10:20am and returning at 4:30pm is the perfect option for discovering Marlborough which has the record for the longest sunshine hours in New Zealand. There are plenty of sensational wines, gourmet delights and stunning scenic landscapes all year round for you to enjoy. Indoor and outdoor itineraries are custom made to suit your day. Stop At: Your Local Chauffeur, 3 Springswood Grove, Blenheim 7201 New Zealand
On this half-day tour from Blenheim you will have time to enjoy wine tasting and delicious gourmet treats. You also have the option of staying on for the full day if you choose. The seat is yours for just a little extra of course.
There will be time to enjoy a light snack or wine/tea/coffee/other at one of the great local winery cafes or restaurants.
Travel through the picturesque Wairau Valley and learn a little about Marlborough before the vines became one of the draw cards that put the Marlborough wine region on the global map. It can be very interesting to hear from the passionate and experienced cellar door staff about the individual growth of the family owned vineyards and the booming wine industry.
Best of all you are coming to taste for yourself the award winning sensational wines, and perhaps the gourmet cuisine and treats. Enjoy tastings of the local gourmet oils, liqueurs, cheeses, special peanut butters, garlic noir and of course Makana Chocolate Boutique Confections is a must stop!
Between December and February, have a chance to taste roadside produce including strawberries, raspberries, cherries, apricots, nectarines and more. You'll enjoy stopping to chat with the market farmers.

What a wonderful day and I can honestly say I would go out with Pam again and again. Everything was so well organised but we didn’t feel rushed. Nothing was a problem for Pam and she had some great knowledge of the vineyards and area. Would highly recommend this tour with Pam. Amazing day!!

We only had four hours to tour the Marlborough wine area in late August. Took the boat from Wellington and Pamela picked us up there. We visited 4-5 wineries (couldn't remember by the time we were done), and then popped on a plane back to Auckland from Blenheim. Pamela was awesome, she knew everyone, led us to some amazing wineries, give a running commentary on the local region, showed us the most beautiful places and generally gave us a wonderful experience. Our first experience of Picton was being greeted by lovely local ladies with little flower sprays for each of us....how wonderful!! We then met Neil our guide for the day....he was friendly, warm and very accommodating. Well done Neil. Off we went in our little mini van a group of 11. The van was clean, airconitioning was great and cool bottles of water for all. We visited 3 wonderful wineries for tasting, another winery for lunch, the chocolate factory and an unscheduled little beach stop. Wines were fantastic, chocolate is to die for. All in all fantastic value for money. Well done Pamela an crew. It was seamless and we would do it again. The parting gift for each guest was a lovely touch :-)
