Private Two Day Tour Exploring Petra, Wadi Rum and Dead Sea from Amman
Overview
Experience three of Jordan's most famous highlights in a two day private tour. Departing Amman in the morning, we drive three hours south in an air-conditioned modern and insured vehicle driven by one of our professional English speaking drivers. Upon reaching the Rose-Red city of Petra, Jordan's most famous attraction, you enter the siq and explore the lost city of the Nabateans with its amazing architecture. In the afternoon depart Petra for Wadi Rum; probably the most spectacular deserts in the world. Arrive to your desert camp set in the middle of the desert where you enjoy a traditional dinner. Overnight at camp. The Next morning we explore the desert in local off-road vehicles before we depart north to the Dead Sea, reaching the Dead Sea 4 hours later. Enjoy the tranquil waters at a 5* resort and soak up the sun and experience the famed mud of the area before returning to Amman. Lunch at Holiday inn Dead Sea Resort is included.

Day 1: Amman/ Petra/ Wadi Rum (3H drive to Petra, then 2H drive to Wadi Rum)
Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Morning departure from Amman south towards Petra in a modern, air conditioned vehicle driven by one of our professional English speaking drivers. Arriving 3 hours later to explore Jordan's best known attraction and the UNESCO World Heritage site. Petra, the Rose-Red City, was the impressive capital of the Nabataean kingdom, whose ruins remained hidden to most of the world until the Swiss explorer, JL Burckhardt, disguised as an Arab scholar, infiltrated the city in 1812. It is a one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Walk down the Siq, a long, winding sandstone canyon that leads to the impressive Treasury. Explore the city, including the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater and the Royal Tombs. Depart Petra towards Wadi Rum.

Wadi Rum has recently been inscribed by UNESCO as a new World Heritage Site displaying unique natural beauty and cultural significance. Inhabited since prehistoric times, it owes its current fame to Lawrence of Arabia, who spent time there during the Arab Revolt of 1916 against the Ottomans. It is Jordan's largest desert and one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world. From the terrain, flora, and fauna, the sites, and the culture of the local Bedouins, there is much to be seen and experienced in Rum, whether it be on a jeep tour, camel trek, hiking or even on a hot-air balloon ride. Arrive to your camp in the middle of the desert. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at your camp. Morning tour of the Wadi covering the highlights for 2-3 hours in local off-road vehicles operated by the Bedouins, or optional balloon ride (requires prior booking, payable separately). Depart Wadi Rum for a 4 hour trip to the Dead Sea.

Part of the Great Rift Valley, the Dead Sea is the lowest spot on earth, at 408 metres below sea level. Due to its high salinity, one can only float in its warm, oily waters. The mud along the shore contains many minerals and is believed to have medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Visit the beach of this 5* resort and enjoy the sun and the sea. Lunch is included

Classification: Non-Business Use Recently, my colleagues and I took a trip to Jordan for six days. We used “Jordan Select Tours” to arrange trips. As three single women traveling, we felt safe and very welcomed as we toured different tourist destinations within Jordan. Jordan Select Tours made our trip seamless. They even handled our visas. Their team of professionals picked us up from the airport and made sure we had a copy of our visas and other necessary documents for traveling. We went through customs in roughly an hours’ time. At a high level, our tour mainly included the lost city of Jaresh in Ammand, The Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Musa, Wadi Rum, Mount Nebo, and Aqaba. We ate great food, laughed hard, hiked, camped in the desert, rode camels, etc. Our main guide and driver was Haytham Hnouty. He was amazing as a person and guide. He was knowledgeable, respectful, timely, and always making sure we were safe and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. He took care of all our transportation needs and made sure we always had ample time to tour with the best tour guides. Another plus is that we had internet throughout all the places we traveled. Haythem provided us with WiFi when driving to/from each city. I highly recommend that you book through Jordan Select Tours and ask for Haytham as your driver. If you visit the ancient Greek city in Jaresh, ask for Anas as your tour guide! I guarantee you will have the best time of your life! I did!90kenc

During some research online, I had found the Jordan Select website online and have enquired about a 7 Day Tour from Amman. I had the pleasure to be contacted back by Ola Farraj and was given several options through email and whatsapp communications. The service was great, especially when we landed at Amman airport, where we were greeted by a representative that took care of our Visa on Arrival. We then met our very informative and cool tour driver Wael Abo Saoud ! We were immediately given a mobile phone with local line for communications with the guide. We visited Amman, Jerash, Wadi Musa, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Red Sea and Dead Sea. The scenes in most places are nothing short of picturesque and many times enchanting ! I booked the two nights and three day tour of Petra (day 1, and the start of day 2), Wadi Rum (day 2), and then we drove to Aqaba, and back along the Dead Sea. It was a beautiful tour, and my driver was the nicest guy. His name was Wesam, and I would highly recommend him for your tour. Very nice, professional, personable, knowledgeable, and a great sense of humor. I would absolutely book this trip with them every time. The people in the office were Suha and Omar, and they couldn’t be any nicer, as well. I also booked a day tour of the city, going to the Citadel, Amphitheater, with a great Falafel lunch, and then capped off by wine & cheese at JR Wine Bar. It was surprisingly good wine (and I’m a professional Sommelier). All in all, a top notch experience.scjnsn
