Stop At: Roca Oceanica, Av. Borgono, Concon Chile
No trip to Chile is complete without visiting the colorful coastal cities of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Our tour begins with your hotel pick up and then an hour and a half drive to the Chilean coastline. We start the drive along the coast in Concón, known for its seaside restaurants and surf shops. We pass by the impressive Concón Sand Dunes where we will have panoramic views of Valparaiso Harbor.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Playa Renaca, Northern Vina, Vina del Mar 2529001 Chile
The tour continues by the popular beach town of Reñaca where on most days we will spot sea lions lying on the coastal rocks.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Vina del Mar, Vina del Mar, Valparaiso Region
We then drive through Viña del Mar, Chile’s “Garden City, ” where you will see the city’s landmarks, including the Flower Clock and Casino, a “Moai” statue from Easter Island, as well as the city’s pristine beaches.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Valparaiso, Valparaiso, Valparaiso Region
Afterwards, we reach our main destination, Plaza Sotomayor, the heart of Valparaiso. We will take an old funicular up to Concepcion and Alegre Hills. Bohemian and colorful, Valparaiso’s maze of hills has long inspired poets and writers. You will discover something new at every turn – a gem of a building, a remarkable art gallery or some little gastronomic ‘find’. Revel in the architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage City. Stroll along its narrow streets, climb its endless staircases, and enjoy panoramic views from its many lofty lookout points.
Duration: 4 hours

Having already seen the Central Valley in Chile, we ventured along the coast for a day of Pacific Ocean views. We started in Valparaíso with a boat ride in the harbor to take in the full size and color of this city—murals, painted houses, funiculars up the steep hills, and more. We moved on to the resort towns and neighborhoods of Viña Del Mar and Reñaca, Concon, and Cachagua—seeing amazing views and colonies of sea lions along the way. Lunch in Zapallar offered a wonderful selection of seafood and honestly the most beautiful views I’ve ever had while dining! We closed our day watching penguins off the coast of Cachagua and strolling along a picturesque beach. Absolutely beautiful! We visited Chile to continue my goal of snowboarding every month of 2019. We visited Chile to continue my goal of snowboarding every month of 2019. While the main purpose of the trip was to snowboard, this day tour was by far the highlight of our trip. We had a different tour with Sean the day before and scheduled this tour on the day we departed. He was able to take all our stuff with us from Santiago and drop us off at the airport around 7pm for our redeye. We made an unexpected stop on the way at a winery to see alpaca's, because those animals are cool and we were talking about them. The city itself was one of the most unique experiences we've had. The street art and colorful houses were amazing. We also did a little tour on a boat so we could see the bay and city from the water which was very relaxing. The restaurant Sean took us to was amazing. We sat at a corner table with a view of the entire bay and the city. The food was great but the view was spectacular. This day was by far the highlight of our trip to Chile. I highly recommend this tour to anybody visiting Chile/Santiago.We wanted to take a day trip outside of Santiago and we very happy with this trip. Our guide was Sean, a very professional operator who was on time collecting my wife and I from the hotel, and from there we had a comfortable journey to the coast. Sean's experience and knowledge was obvious and he had a sense of which information to share with us about each highlight. Our day on the coast was well-paced, included worthwhile activities, we were not rushed and had a nice restaurant lunch which was recommended. The afternoon was spent continuing along the coastal area and surrounds, with plenty of opportunities for pictures of the unique views. We had a memorable time with Sean and we especially appreciated his handling of some challenging traffic. Well done Sean, thanks for a great day. We've booked our private tour on a general travel website a few weeks in advance and luckily got Chile Dream Tours as operator and Sean as our private guide. We've booked our private tour on a general travel website a few weeks in advance and luckily got Chile Dream Tours as operator and Sean as our private guide. So as the weather on that early Septemper day everything was perfect! Sean picked us two up at our hotel in Santiago with a very warm welcome and a comfortable car and so we had thought at once: This will be an enjoyable day! And so it was: We visited everything what was on the schedule and this not in a rush, but in a personal, nice and relaxing atmosphere. Sean was so friendly, a good driver, well informed and didn't got tired in answering our questions. As we talked about our wish to see Alpacas in reality he stopped at a organic vineyard near the motorway and we had the possibility to take lots of photos. :-) As we arrived in Valparaiso later another local guide joined us for a private harbour ride (just us four on a big boat) and a walk through the upper town. We got a perfect recommendation for lunch - from the restaurant's terrace you could overlook nearly the whole bay. After that we continued our day tour through Vina del Mar - the last stop was finally at the enormous sand dunes directly at the Pacific Ocean. When you do not have so much time in Chile don't miss this private day tour - it is such a big difference to the big coaches and you see a lot more. And do it with Chile Dream Tours, it's a very good value for money und you will get so many personal impressions from the area. Thank you again Sean for this wonderful day - you really made our day and our holiday in Chile! We had one final day in Chile remaining before flying out and decided to book a day trip to Valparaiso and Viña Del Mar. we had the best day with Sean who showed us around the area with the perfect itinerary for our family.
