13th century fortress offers best view over city of Rijeka and Kvarner bay. Also have it is important historical sight which tells you stories about wars with Ottoman Empire and about local medieval noble family Frankopan

Stop At: St. Vitus Cathedral, Grivica 11, Rijeka 51000 Croatia
17th century cathedral is dedicated to St. Vitus, protector of the city.
Circular shape of baroque cathedral is very rare example in Mediterranean, and cannon ball inside of its walls tells you one very interesting story

Dean took our family around this small but resilient city and showed us what a beautiful gem it is. He knows so much about the history of Croatia it was really interesting. We really enjoyed our time with Dean.
