Pamela took us on our day of wine and food through the Marlborough region and it was fantastic. Pamela was knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. She knew the spots to hit, how to avoid the crowds and what to taste at each stop. The tour was totally personalised to what we wanted and she was always checking with us before locking in the next stop or meal. If you're staying in Picton or Blenheim this tour is a great way to see the wineries and discover why Marlborough is one of the best wine and food regions in the world.Absolutely delightful and yummy tour with the owner Pamela. We recently went on a wine tasting with Pamela - the owner of the company and it was such a great experience. We found her trough TripAdvisor – She actually does not only do a chauffeur service, but really is giving you a behind the scenes tour personalized based on your asks and wishes. She typically does those tours in very small groups in our case it was even only the two of us – She was knowledgeable about the history of the area / Malborough, knowing the key families around and is everywhere welcome – when we mentioned that we do the following day a tour with her during our visit at Yealands and Nautilus estate both mentioned to us “then you are in good hands – she knows a lot”. Pamela even brought a box of chocolates of her own to taste with the wines – Regarding the price it might seem a little high for a few – but if you see what all was included then it is really quite good. Initially planned 4 Wine tastings typically 20 NZD per person One cheese platter for 2 people including a glass of wine for each Two lunch platters for 2 people including a glass of wine for each (we decided to split one for two as it was plenty of food) During one of the wine tastings Vanilla icrecream to go with the desert wine And actually we ended up I think with 6 wine tastings as Pamela managed around the time and I think she would have gone even to Havelock for a meal for mussels, but we went there anyway the next day – so a splendid day starting at around 10 am in the morning finishing I think around 5.30 – And not to forget as well good talks and discussions – just a very good time like hanging out feeling welcomed like a guest rather than a customer. I would recommend this to those who are looking for a unique experience. My husband and I had a fabulous day with Pamela. She was very entertaining and we learnt a lot about the local wine industry. We visited six vineyards and had five food tastings. It was definitely a day to remember.
