We had a fantastic afternoon on this trip to Pancake Rocks etc. Bob, our driver/guide was very informative and interesting. Once we arrived back in Greymouth he showed us around the town and up the hill to see the views of the ocean.

Great job!!Greymouth is a bland town, however, not too far away on a great sea scenic drive are these. A bit further and continuing the scenic drive for about 20 kms, is the Otter reserve.

Amazing experience on a very sunny morning after a very grey, rainy evening in Greymouth! Fabulous scenery, guide and experience! Bob was very funny and had us in stitches! Really appreciated his sound knowledge of the area and interesting facts about the history plus flora and fauna! Pancake Rocks, a walk on the beach, hunting for gold and jade, a ‘bush walk’ and a drive with hilarious exchanges with locals! Not to forget a tour of Greymouth at the end! Thank you Bob! The weather was terrible - Extremely windy and raining... and it was AMAZING. Absolutely exhilarating. We had a very knowledgeable guide, Bob, who gave us loads of information about the Pakeha settlement of the area, the geology and took us on a bush walk along Truman Track, telling us about the trees. On the way back we went to Runanga to see the 1908 Miner's Hall and we were told about the history of NZ unionism and women's sufferage. Then back into town, out to the river mouth to see the wild weather and waves on the bar. And back to the Station. WOW!! what a great trip. More than 5 stars. Thank you, Bob.There were only two of us on the trip, but our day was fantastic!! Out guide was knowledgeable, and fun. Got in, saw the sights, and even some bonus material! Would definitely do again.
