Our tours are not private; however, you will likely head out with your own group in off-peak season. We generally provide one guide for every six guests. Note that youth who ride their own quad bike pay the adult price.

Experience the sheer thrill of riding a quad bike through Namibia's boundless expanse of shifting sand dunes.This activity is a 90 minute guided quad bike ride into the oldest desert in the world. Guests will receive a short introduction and safety briefing before departure. The tour starts out slow and steady as we head to the larger dunes, giving you a chance to get a feel for your quad bike. Our quad bikes are extremely easy to handle and our guides will be with you every step of the way. Many of our guests have never been on a quad bike before, and always boast a thrilling experience after the trip. Stops will be made when necessary and to take photos - one must capture this amazing experience. Kids are more than welcome. This is surely one of the 'MUST-DO's" in Namibia!

Too much fun in a spectacular setting. We had some experience before with quad bikes and our guide watched carefully and soon decided to open the throttle. Hit 60 km/h plus through roller coasters and banked turns in the higher dunes. Rated 10/10 by all in the family from ages 12 to 55. Always follow the guides tracks as sometimes just a metre or two the wrong way can be big trouble. Don’t bother with sandboarding…..do this instead!Fredotelli

Wir sind spontan auf die Idee gekommen, diese Quadtour zu machen. Wir kamen an und waren 5min später auf dem Quads gesessen. Bei den Helmen wurde besonderer Wert auf Hygiene gelegt - jeder trug Haarnetz und die Helme wurden desinfiziert. Nach einer kurzen Einführung ging es direkt los in die Dün...
Wir sind spontan auf die Idee gekommen, diese Quadtour zu machen. Wir kamen an und waren 5min später auf dem Quads gesessen. Bei den Helmen wurde besonderer Wert auf Hygiene gelegt - jeder trug Haarnetz und die Helme wurden desinfiziert. Nach einer kurzen Einführung ging es direkt los in die Dünen. Eineinhalb Stunden war Vollgas angesagt. Wir haben nur eine Pause gemacht, um ein Foto zu schiessen (man hätte auf Wunsch mehr Pausen machen können, wollten wir aber gar nicht). Während der Tour ist bei einem Mitfahrer das Quad kaputt gegangen. Hier konnten nochmal Pluspunkte gesammelt werden, denn das kaputte Bike war mitten in den Dünen innerhalb von 5 Minuten ausgetauscht worden und dann ging es direkt weiter. Ein gelungener Nachmittag mit richtig viel Spaß. Ein echtes Muss in Swakopmund!
