What to expect
Our experienced rafting guides take guests rafting down the Resurrection River for a thrilling 7 to 8 mile rafting adventure! KBA specializes in rafting glacial rivers, and the Resurrection River offers amazing sightseeing, and challenges to those seeking thrills.
This is an interactive, team adventure that involves everyone paddling the raft with precise direction from your guide. Everyone will participate as it takes the whole raft team to maneuver the raft down the river.
Your adventure begins with a courtesy pickup in Seward, and then a short drive to the river put-in. Prior to getting in the raft your guide will conduct an important safety briefing. Once everyone is in the raft, your guide will run you through a series of instructional paddle strokes, commands, and maneuvers.
Once everyone is ready, you will begin your rafting adventure down the swift currents of the Resurrection River.
Every trip is different as the river is constantly changing through this dynamic landscape. The river is surrounded by towering mountains on both sides which showcases the gorgeous nature of the area’s diverse environment.

My wife and I had an exceptional experience on our rafting trip in Resurrection River. Our guide Pierce was excellent! He was very familiar with the way the river meanders and even said that he had noticed some changes due to snowmelt. Pierce guided us to an area where we were able to see Exit Glacier and got some nice pictures. We made some stops along the way to check out the glacial silt and to warm our hands (the water was pretty cold). The equipment provided kept us dry and we always felt safe. I highly recommend this rafting trip to anyone interested in enjoying a beautiful section of the Tongass National Forest. This was our second trip with the outfit! Our guide was Pierce and he simply awesome - so many stories, so much fun. Also very very knowledgeable...we were confident that we were in very good hands.

Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience some of Alaska. We had a great afternoon with lots of laughter, 2 bear sightings, about 10 eagles, fresh footprints of a black bear and a grizzly, yummy apple spider and wet butts. All in all, we wouldn’t have done anything differently. Pierce was a great and safe guide who could deal with our German charme. 6 s...
