We came to Costa Rica with 11 of my family members, ranging in age from 40 to 75. We did excursions every day and our group felt this was the best of them all!! Randall led the tour by horseback through the land owned by his family. The scenery is beautiful and Randall is very informative about the local flora and fauna. The horses are very well cared for and run free on the property when not being ridden. The waterfalls are an added bonus. Be sure to bring a suit. Our friends joined us the second week of our stay and we again went on this excursion. They also enjoyed it. Sign up- you’ll love it!!!Randall was our tour guide and super knowledgeable of the area and his ranch. Going into details of the native plants, animals, and history. Some of the most beautiful landscapes and waterfalls I’ve seen. 5 star experience!

Could not have enjoyed this trip more. Our favourite day trip so far in Costa Rica. Randall and his father Juan were very patient with our group. Randall shared the history of their family ranch and the general Quepos area which was very interesting to learn about. It was clear they care deeply about their land, the eco system and also the horses. The horses were very gentle and patient and we felt very safe while on the trail. The waterfall was a highlight:). Highly recommend!!!We took this tour with Randall, who actually lives on the ranch where we went! Was very knowledgeable about many things & also very passionate about his work & where he lives. Loved it! Would definitely recommend this experience!

He was not only gracious and knowledgeable, he also is so genuine—a true gem of a guide. His 300-acre ranch is absolute paradise.

Randal was an excellent tour guide from the pre-trip communication through the end of the tour. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and catered to my family in a very special way. His ability to share stories and facts was fun and entertaining. I went on this tour with my two daughters, ages 11 and 6. Randal took safety as a priority and was able to provide my youngest with her own horse, she still talks about the experience to this day. If you are a responsible traveler, look no further. Randal and his family deserve your business. We will be back again and again.
